The ruins of Ossus were heavy with memory. Long ago the Jedi built here, seeking light and knowledge, until fire destroyed it all.

Braze had made the broken temple his refuge. Kidnapped by Okuma Milogen Okuma Milogen yet given some measure of freedom, he chose this place to study the art of lightsabers. Once, these halls had been a great library. Now, among the rubble, he gathered broken fragments of sabers, using psychometry to draw out the histories and Force echoes that lingered in the relics.

As he worked, the Force pulled at him with an uneasy weight. Another presence was near, strong, restless, and searching. Braze did not bother to hide his own signature. He let it be felt, steady and calm against the shifting shadows. Here, far from the Order, the sense of another presence felt sharper, almost magnified.

He was an outcast by by choice, but Ossus gave him peace. Visitors came and went, and he did not mind their passing. This one, however, felt different. Braze straightened, letting his voice carry into the hollow ruin.

"You don't need to hide...The Force brought you here for a reason."

The young man with red hair and yellow eyes walked carefully around the planet. Pulling the hood to cover his face more and the cloak covering his lightsaber he walked around the planet where he hears the last war of the Jedi as leaders of the republic and the Sith, he felt all the pain and despair, he heard and sometimes saw shadows. He stopped in front of the ruins suspiciously and when he heard the voice he brought one of his hands to his waist still keeping it hidden under the blanket, he walked slowly and without uttering a word looked at the other Force User

He stopped, staring at him as if an attack was expected from those who spoke to him but also expected an ambush. Braze could feel the Dark Side pulsing naturally from the young redhead who stared at him and sometimes looked quickly in some direction, but he could also feel his fear, his paranoia

Braze watched him curiously from his workbench. Slowly, he set aside the parts he had been working on.

Through the Force, Braze let out a calm and steady presence, like a quiet breath in the ruins.

"I will not hurt you," he said, his voice gentle. "Do you need help?"

He asked honestly, unsure what this stranger truly wanted.

He moves one leg by reflex positioning himself in a counterattack posture, by reflex, but without drawing the weapon when he feels the movement in the Force. He listens well to what is said to him and becomes thoughtful, looks down and then over his shoulder.

"I.... I just need a place to rest."

He says in a low tone, without aggression but also without showing that he trusts the Jedi in front of him. He stands silently and standing there looking waiting for a reaction or response

Braze gestured toward the modest encampment he had set up near the entrance of the dilapidated temple. A simple cot lay there with a pillow and a rolled sleeping bag beside the low stone fire pit he had built by hand, its ash ringed by soot-darkened stones.

"You're free to rest there, if you like," he said softly.

With that, he turned back to the workbench. His hands moved with steady purpose, sorting through a scatter of components, polishing, aligning, setting each piece in its place with patient care.

Aknoby nods in agreement and walks slowly to the side of the pillow, lying straight on the floor, covering himself better with the cloak but Braze can glimpse the light before the cloak covers him. He closes his eyes but still stays awake, the sounds of Braze working are strangely clamoring, soon his breathing calms down and he falls asleep.

For Braze if he stops and looks at the redhead a little he will realize by the way he sleeps that it has been a long time since he lets his guard down to sleep, because even the relaxed body seems ready to wake up, and that feeling of the Dark Side still haunts Aknoby
