PHYSICAL INFORMATION

Age: Five Galactic Standard Years.
Force Sensitivity: Force Dead.
Species: Sithspawn.
Appearance:

Naurdeimos looks like something bred purely for terror and battlefield dominance.

Its body is low-slung and predatory, as if crossbred from a Krayt Dragon and an Asharl Panther. Thick, overlapping obsidian-black scales cover its hide, each scale rough and uneven, giving the impression of natural armour rather than skin. Along its spine and shoulders, the scales rise into jagged, blade-like protrusions, some cracked and darkened as if scorched by heat or corrupted energy.

The head is broad and brutal, with a heavy skull and a short, powerful snout. Its eyes glow a violent crimson, sunken deep beneath armoured brow ridges, portraying a wild ferocity and primal intelligence. When its jaws open, rows of long, uneven fangs are visible, stained dark and serrated, clearly designed for tearing through armour as easily as flesh.

Powerful forelimbs end in oversized claws, each talon curved, thick, and capable of pinning prey effortlessly. The musculature beneath the scales is dense and coiled, suggesting explosive speed despite its size. Its hind legs are equally massive, built for lunging charges and crushing impacts.

Extending behind it is an elongated, whip-like tail, thicker near the base and tapering to a hardened, blade-shaped tip. The tail's motion looks purposeful, capable of sweeping enemies off their feet or delivering lethal strikes on its own.

Overall, the creature feels engineered rather than natural, a Sithspawn forged through alchemy and dark-side corruption. Everything about its appearance communicates savagery, obedience to violence, and a horrific display of primal strength.

SOCIAL INFORMATION

Sithspawn Name: Naurdeimos.
Alias/Pet Name: Shadow.
Loyalties: Kellan Dashiell Kellan Dashiell .
Notable Possessions: N/A.
Personality:

Naurdeimos radiates violence, an entity shaped by Sith alchemy and dark science, its very existence steeped in predatory instinct. In stark contrast to Kellan Dashiell, it is remarkable that such a creature displays unwavering loyalty and fierce protectiveness toward a young Force-user raised in compassion, mercy, and restraint.

Were it not for the biological conditioning embedded into the Sithspawn at its creation, there is little doubt Naurdeimos would have torn Kellan apart the moment they met. Instead, the beast appears bound to a singular purpose: to serve as Kellan's companion, shield, and instrument of survival upon the battlefield.

This bond, however, does not extend beyond Kellan, much to the concern of Balun Dashiell.

Naurdeimos regards others with thinly veiled hostility. While it has learned to tolerate the Dashiell family over time, owing largely to Balun's role in discovering the creature and keeping it isolated during its early, volatile period, they are never left alone with it. The risk of violence remains ever-present.

To Naurdeimos, Kellan's word is absolute law; all other attempts at command, friendship, or familiarity are met with defiance, suspicion, or open aggression.

Training: Long-Term Behavioural Drift.

What makes Naurdeimos truly unsettling, and paradoxically fascinating, is that prolonged exposure to Kellan's compassion appears to be subtly warping its original conditioning. This influence does not erase the creature's violent nature, nor does it cure the instincts etched into it through Sith alchemy; instead, it complicates them.

At times, the Sithspawn hesitates where it once would have killed without pause, particularly when Kellan is emotionally distressed. When acting as Kellan's guardian, it has shown an emerging preference for restraint, employing non-lethal force where lethal violence would have once been instinctive.

Beyond the battlefield, Naurdeimos displays possessive, almost watchful behaviours, lingering close to Kellan even in moments of calm. None of this was ever part of its design or training, and it is precisely this unpredictable deviation that would deeply unsettle Sith alchemists and raise quiet concern in observers such as Balun.

COMBAT INFORMATION

Combat Function:
  • Shock Assault: Rapid, overwhelming initial attack designed to break enemy formations through fear and brute force.
  • Close-Quarters Elimination: Excels in confined spaces, using claws, fangs, and body mass to neutralise armoured targets.
  • Armoured Target Breach: Specifically conditioned to tear through plastoid armour and crush reinforced materials.
  • Area Denial: Uses size, aggression, and tail sweeps to control space and prevent enemy advance.
  • Guardian Interposition: Positions itself between Kellan and threats, absorbing or deflecting incoming attacks.
  • Pursuit and Hunt: Tracks fleeing enemies relentlessly, prioritising targets marked as hostile to Kellan.
  • Suppressive Presence: Emits growls, roars, and aggressive posturing to induce panic and hesitation in opponents.
  • Target Disruption: Breaks enemy cohesion by isolating and eliminating key combatants.
  • Command-Responsive Engagement: Attacks, holds, or disengages immediately in response to Kellan's commands or intent.
  • Non-Lethal Subdual (Conditional): When guarding rather than attacking, restrains or incapacitates threats without killing.
  • Battlefield Recovery: Returns to Kellan's side after engagements, maintaining constant protective proximity.
Force Abilities: N/A.

Strengths:
  • + Loyal to Kellan Dashiell.
  • + Unsavoury desire to kill on the battlefield.
  • + Land and airborne combatant.
Weaknesses:
  • - Innate hunger for death and carnage.
  • - Intolerant of all others.
  • - Creature of Darkness, inherently evil.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

To understand the story of Naurdeimos, one must first understand the history shared by Balun Dashiell and Lady Falentra, formerly known as Nouqai Veil, and the mother of Kellan Dashiell Kellan Dashiell .

Balun Dashiell and Nouqai Veil were raised together within the New Jedi Order, inducted as younglings and shaped by the same rigid doctrine. Both displayed pronounced antisocial tendencies, and in each other, they found an immediate and lasting connection. They lived, trained, and served side by side under the Jedi of the Galactic Alliance until their mid-teens, when their paths diverged in ways neither could have anticipated.

Nouqai, fiercely driven by her desire to become a Jedi Knight, ultimately failed her trials. The failure shattered her self-worth and left her deeply disillusioned with the Order she had devoted her life to. During a later mission alongside her Master, the two encountered Sith forces, and conflict followed. The Master returned to Coruscant alone, reporting that Nouqai had been killed in action. In truth, the report was a fabrication, born of mutual desperation. Nouqai chose to abandon the Jedi and pursue the Sith, believing they alone could provide answers about her origins as a Sithspawn. Rather than admit his failure as a teacher, the Wookiee Knight allowed the lie to stand, consigning her to the dead in the official record.

By this time, Balun had already fled the New Jedi Order for reasons of his own. Taken in as an orphan, he had been raised in a life he never chose, and over the years, resentment had taken root. He learned to keep others at a distance, and when the opportunity arose, he vanished into the lower levels of the city, surviving as best he could beyond the reach of the Order.

Despite everything, Balun and Nouqai remained in contact. Bound by shared trauma and mutual understanding, their relationship deepened into something intimate and complicated. Balun continued to pursue the Light, while Nouqai embraced the Sith and walked a far darker path. It was a relationship doomed by circumstance, yet neither foresaw the consequences it would bring.

Kellan's birth was kept from Balun entirely. Unknown to both father and son, another sibling exists somewhere in the galaxy. As a hybrid of human and Sithspawn, Kellan drew the attention of Sith scientists eager to study him. When he was taken from Nouqai, she was forced to turn against her own people to save her child from experimentation. Realising he would never truly be safe with her, she entrusted Kellan to his grandfather, Judah Dashiell, knowing that Balun would ultimately find and protect him.

There is no love between Nouqai, now Lady Falentra, and Balun Dashiell today. Their last encounter nearly ended in her death when she attempted to reclaim Kellan, spared only by Balun's Jedi training and hard-earned restraint. Since becoming a father, Balun has poured credits and countless sleepless nights into fortifying Kellan's safety, ever aware that the boy's mother still lives and may return at any time.

It is against this backdrop that the sudden and deeply troubling arrival of Naurdeimos must be understood. One evening, Balun and Kellan returned home to find a massive crate waiting in their living room, addressed as a gift for their son. Despite every security measure and precaution, Falentra had somehow infiltrated their home without triggering alarms or leaving a trace. The crate was the only sign she had been there at all, and the only thing she wished her son to have.

"Knecaetis nuyak woyunuk, this gift was created just for you. Its name is Naurdeimos. May he keep you company. It is a cruel sorrow for you to be kept away from me. But our time apart will strengthen you, I am sure of it. It should be nearly time that you learn to embrace the force in full. My son, know that you are meant for great things; do not allow anyone to hold you back from reaching your full potential. Take control, and you will find your way back to me. Wonoksh Qyâsik Tu. Your sister and I are waiting for your return. Like you, your twin is kept at a distance, but I know she will want to meet you one day.

With love,
Your Dearest Mother, Darth Falentra tave Meloseyri iv Deimosza".
