- Shaak Ti's Legacy: As the owner's force signature has been imprinted upon the lightsaber, Those who wield the lightsaber seem to have a little bit more finesse with lightsaber combat. As the master herself was well known for being a Makashi and Ataru Lightsaber user. She was also very powerful within the force and was noted by many other Masters of the order during her time as being a rather cunning Jedi.
- Blade of the Duelist: The lightsaber blade is well known for having the most superior cutting power of any melee weapon. As such, the blade can cut through just about anything.
- Sahna Te's Generation: As the crystal housed inside the lightsaber has been changed out to suit Sahna, and the lightsaber has been updated to match current times, the weapon is more suited now towards Sahna's fighting style as well as her frame. Specifically built just for her, only using the frame of Shaak's Lightsaber as a basis.
- Inspirational Hero: The Lightsaber crystal that was housed and used in the recontruction of the lightsaber gives off an affect to Sahna of inspiration, and invigoration when in battle, or otherwise when holding onto, or using the lightsaber.
- One of a Kind: As a Unique artifact, should the item be destroyed, it is gone forever. There are no more pieces left of the lightsaber.
- Not everything: The lightsaber can cut through just about everything in the galaxy. However, there are some metals such as songsteel, Beskar, and the like that can prevent the lightsaber from cutting it. As well, the lightsaber can still short out due to Cortosis.
- Dueling Saber: Built in mind for Saber fights more so than Blaster redirection, it can still be performed, but one could find it difficult to do so with this lightsaber, over other lightsabers out there. As well, the thinner blade makes it difficult to redirect the bolt at an enemy. However, this can still be done with enough practice and time with mastering their lightsaber form, as well as using this lightsaber in particular.
- Lightning Rod: The use of a crystal that is a very good conduit of electricity, when housed inside a lightsaber will be hazardous to the user. While normal lightsabers can in some cases block lightning, this lightsaber cannot do the same. The lightsaber will absorb the electricity and then short out for a couple of moments before it will be able to be reactivated. There is also a chance that the lightsaber will only increase the chance for the person to be shocked or struck with electricity.
This lightsaber no longer has the gleam and shine of a brand new weapon. It has lost the sleek luster and appeal it once had, having been left to face the elements alone for many years. But even the harshest of elements has not been able to erode the story that accompanied this blade. Once belonging to the Jedi Master Shaak Ti, this lightsaber was wielded against many foes leading up to and throughout the clone wars, finally coming to rest on Felucia when its master finally fell for the last time.
Now, this elegant weapon from a bygone age has found its way into the hands of another. A togruta, like its previous master, Sahna Te's own name seems to be an echo of Shaak Ti's. The young je'daii still has much left to learn, especially about wielding such a weapon. Sahna hopes to one day have the same wisdom as the master that came before hew, knowing not only how to wield the saber, but when.
She has no doubts there there will be many trials ahead for her, just as there were for Shaak Ti, but with a relic from one of the masters of the Jedi Council, one of the greatest togruta in history, Sahna hopes that she will have the wisdom to face them.
