Seruka's mask was designed especially for her shortly after her lightsabers were constructed. Due to the noxious gas they emit she needed a breather to survive her own attacks. Everything else was added over time and through curiosity.
The mask is made from two solid plates of phrik smelted down and designed to keep the integrity of the metal. Next, thick rubber lining is layed throughout the mask and then cybernetics and optics are wired in. To finish it off, for comfortability, plush armorweave lines the mask.
From a simple gas mask it was turned into a beacon of the Black Vigil's cause. When Seruka wears this she is often leading or speaking to the faithful and the devotees now see the mask as a sign of her grace.
