Intent: To update the elite Angelii warriors with a suit of armour more suited for the modern battlefield. This also makes use of cortosis mined from Bespin and builds on the previous Cusaeris Armour, adapted for the contemporary battlefield.

The Eldorai of Kaeshana have learned much in the last ten years about the outside galaxy. The most shocking thing on the technology side is that their weapons and armour were completely unsatisfactory against modern weapons. The venerable Cusaeris armour and Taegis shields which had done good work for so long were proven to be deficient.
New weapons and armour were needed therefore. Using cortosis mined from Bespin before that planet’s loss, the Eldorai constructed the Seaphim battle armour. This armour is designed for use by senior and important battlefield commanders – usually Captains, Seraphs and High Captains. No more than twenty suits were made, and they are usually reserved for the most dangerous missions.
Consciously, this armour is designed to combat the modern weaponry of blasters and lightsabres, even if it meant weakening it against more traditional weapons. The armour is heavier than the Cusaeris, but not much so, as it relies more on the cortosis for protection than heavy plates of armour. Still, it is quite tiring for an Eldorai to wear and limits their natural mobility.
As this armour is worn by Angelii, and they specialise in elemental attacks the gauntlets can retract to leave the hand free if needed.

- Vs. Lightsabres: 8 – Unless an attack hits a weak point it is strongly resistant.
- Vs. Blasters: 7 – Able to resist repeated attacks without penetration.
- Vs. Stasers and Slugthrowers: 6 – Provides good protection against glancing blows and direct hits to the most armoured sections.
- Vs. Regular melee attacks: 7 – Able to resist repeated attacks without penetration.
- Vs Shrapnel and Environmental Hazards: 7 – Able to resist repeated attacks without penetration.
- Lightsabre resistant. As it is Cortosis-weave it does not short out lightsabres, just resists them.
- Decent blaster protection.
- Weaker against conventional weapons.
- Includes commlink, 30 minute air supply, basic HUD.
- Armour is sealed and gives limited protection against vacuum, and significant protection against temperature.
