Intent: TO create a new model of infiltrator tech gloves that are usable by the jedi sentinels created by the tech division.
Development Thread: if Needed
Manufacturer: Shatory Countermeasures
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: Can be updated with latest software
Production: Mass-Produced. (Anyone.)

Material:
Classification: Other
Weight: 2kg
Quality: .5
Special Features:

  • Ultra sensitive sensors
  • Internal Computer
  • Holographic wrist display
Strengths:
  • Mini Computer
  • Detects acoustic Vibrations in glasteel, transparasteel and crystasteel
  • Improces slicing and hacking skills
Weaknesses:
  • Flimsy Protection
  • Requires Knowledge for Slicing
  • Not Shielded from EMP/Ion Weapons
Description: Designed by Shatory with micro sensor lasers that are able to be used in the palms and fingers of the gloves. They are designed with small mini computers in the wrist sections for processing and connection. Holographic displays and sections for power cells so audio can be played back and recorded using mini droid brains. The laser microphones are one of the more helpful sections of the gloves, for stealth encounters or going undercover as it can lessen the need for trackable listening devices or risk being in the room. Acoustic vibrations from their voices bouncing off the transparasteel, glasteel or crystassteel can be translated with the droid brain into audio for the one listening allowing the jedi to listen into a soundproof room as long as there is a connection for the sensors to read. THe design also provides smaller mechanical fingers for hackers to access and overclock their own speeds when typing. An understanding of it is required but to find ways past security and hacking door locks it can prove invaluable as the small mechanical fingers can be used in old model to feel for the tumblers.

Hi [member="Krass Wyms"], I will be reviewing this submission.

Most of the submission looks fine except the below.

  • Can you explain this a little more? What do you mean by as long as there is a connection for the sensors to read?
  • Is this assuming the listener is inside or outside of the room?

[member="Jamie Pyne"] it functions as long as they are inside the room and near a glass type surface.

The object is typically inside a room where a conversation is taking place and can be anything that can vibrate (for example, a picture on a wall) in response to the pressure waves created by noises present in the room. The object preferably has a smooth surface. The laser beam is directed into the room through a window, reflects off the object, and returns to a receiver (for example a solar panel) that converts the beam to an audio signal. The beam may also be bounced off the window itself.
in this case though small sensors in the gloves pick up the vibrations on the glass by being near it. Less distance and more risk but in a universe where glass and steel are very easy to combine it seemed like a fair trade off

One of these things are not like the others - your intent does not, remotely, match the contents of this submission.

How is slicing, hacking, typing, and stealth at all remotely related to healing?
