Intent: To develop a new data storage device for sentient AIs - chiefly the NASI AI(which will be submitted soon).
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Defiance Consolidated Multipurpose Manufacturing
Model: Sentient AI Data Storage Chip and Integrated Holoprojector
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: Yes(Varying AIs, along with firmware upgrades, aftermarket hardware and software modifications, etc - cannot be physically modified unless integrated into another digital device, such as a datapad)
Production: Limited
Material: Kathracite Crystal(crystalline data storage), Adamithium-Duranium Composite(exterior protection, Diatium(for integration into devices - the 'prongs' of a microchip, if you will)
Description: This datachip was initially designed by Circe Savan for the AI 'children' of SARI and Onyx. The chip utilizes a crystalline data matrix, similar to data holocrons, allowing for ample data storage of a single fully sentient AI. Integrated into the chip is a full-color hologram projector(not seen in the above photo), allowing for the AI to manifest itself and be visual to people. The chip in question is the size of a palm datapad(read: an iPhone or smartphone), and thus must be held in the hand constantly or integrated somewhere on a person's attire. The chips also feature a connection to the Holonet in order to keep AIs entertained, along with anti-virus software and advanced encryption for the AI's security. Note - Viral AIs or sentient viruses may have difficulties operating using this chip.

Just to clarify, this is used to store the data of sentient Artificial Intelligence and allow them to be projected via the device's holoprojector? Am I correct in my understanding that this is for "carrying" and transporting the AI?
