APPEARANCE:
Selah stands above average height, and is slim but athletic. She has long black hair, dark chocolate colored eyes and her skin is often bronze from the sun. The shaman often wears face paint and clothing that is very worn due to her travels.
BIOGRAPHY:
Selah originally comes from the jungle world of Felucia, having been part of a small human settlement. During her teen years she took to the jungle and eventually joined an all human tribe of wilderness dwellers. The tribe lived purely off the land and made their home deep within the wilds. Selah quickly showed an aptitude for empathy and visions, and was elected as the tribe’s shaman. She steeped herself in knowledge of the flora, and devoted herself to creating her own teas, salves, poultices and tinctures. As time went on she would visit the settlement less and less, but would occasionally offer her treatments to the locals. Selah’s parents were highly distressed by her absence, but their daughter was lost to them, and refused to return to their home.
Members of Selah’s tribe began to thin; many deaths at the jaws of the rancor had greatly diminished their numbers. When she reached her 20th year, she was one of few surviving members. It was then that she decided to leave Felucia and left to travel the galaxy. She has been living as a nomad ever since, traveling to different worlds, learning their healing ways and collecting medicinal plants/herbs. Selah is currently looking for a new place to settle, and start her own medicinal garden.
