Private Secrets Untold

Kael's eyes tracked the sway of her hips for a heartbeat before they slid lower, catching the twin glints at her belt. Not just lightsabers—statements. His grin sharpened as he closed the gap, his voice low enough for her alone.

"Electrum bands," he muttered, almost like he was reading the story straight from the hilts. "That's not decoration. That's legacy. Jedi Masters wear those—whether you claim the title or not." His gaze lingered on the floral etchings, the shimmer of purples and blues, the heavier emitter design. "Beautiful. But heavy. Aggressive. Not the kind of blades a woman chooses if she plans to dance around her enemies."

The Split pressed hard in his skull, whispering with serpentine hunger: "Take one. Feel the weight. Test her fire against your own. She bleeds, you'll know." His jaw clenched, his left pupil flashing into a slit before he forced it back with a sharp breath.

Instead, he chuckled, letting the mask of humor slip back over the tension. "You walk with weapons like that, Valery, you don't scare off easily, do you? Makes a man wonder if you're the type to fight with fire… or burn everything down until nothing's left standing."

He fell into stride beside her, shoulders loose, but the intensity in his grin betrayed how close the Split was riding him. "And dragging me out of a bar, promising secrets in a hangar?" His voice dipped lower, almost a purr. "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trying to seduce me."
