Description:

The Scyther-class Battle Droid serves only one function - to fight and conquer which is it's main strength. It can be used as an alternative means to using flesh and blood ground troops, where the cost of life would be to great to achieve an objective or victory. It can be deployed to most terrains but with it's slow moving ability of sixteen kilometers per hour - rougher terrains like heavy snow and ice can cause the droid to move slightly slower.

This particular model of battle droid comes equipped two rotary blaster cannons - one mounted on each side of the droid. The cannons are heavy hitters allowing it to punch through most armour types. Even with the strength backing up it's shots - it has a maximum range of ninety-one meters. Anything behind that and the shots grow weaker the further they go - thus losing it's punching power.

Inside a compartment located on the outside of the droid's arm is a molten cannon. This is one of two secondary weapons the droid can use during battle. When this weapon is brought into the field of battle - it could spray a stream of liquid fire with a maximum range of six meters. The liquid is contained in a small canister within the hidden compartment and has enough fuel to allow the droid to use it no more than two times.

An electronic gauge is attached to to the inside of the canister to monitor the amount of fuel being used. Each use will spend one-half of the fuel then the gauge will activate the shut-off switch which is built into the arm itself. The molten cannon can be used simultaneously while the left cannon is still firing.

The right arm also has an a compartment that holds a third weapon. When called into action - the compartment opens up and rolls out a mini missile launcher. The launcher contains three missiles (type can be chosen prior to droid being called into service) with a maximum range of sixty-eight meters. Anything over that and the missiles will stray off course considerably. Unlike the dual function of the molten cannon and rotary blaster on the left arm - the right armed blaster must ceasing firing in order to fire the missile - or missiles.

Just for personal clarification:

1. What is the basis of a 40 post dev thread? What is in the submission that requires one?

2. If I'm to do a 40 post dev thread - then why would I need to lower 'to most standard armours'?

I asked for 40 post because it's a mass produced droid that could be used to dogplie PC's in PvP combat. The chance this could be abused therefore is why I want the development. The reason for asking for it to read standard armor is so the writers you sell it to don't try and say the droid can shoot through beskar, phrick, or another restricted material as easily as it can plasteel. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask either here or pm whichever is most comfortable for you.
