ADVANCED SYSTEMSStrengths:
  • Warship - This ship has no use in Peace Time. The crew fight for space, but it boasts a powerful set of guns and resistance.
  • Erebus Jammer - Lessens the effects of enemy long-range fire and guided munitions
  • Power Systems - The ship has advanced features that allow it to improve shield power, improve speed, or even maneuverability, while at the cost of other systems.
Weaknesses:
  • Warship - The Scythe II is purely a Warship. It does not use civilian ship designs, and it has no space for spare cargo or passengers. It has no room for fighters or other amenities. This ship has no use in Peace Time.
  • Rear Defense - The majority of the Scythe II's weaponry are fielded on the forward fin of the ship, leaving only anti-fighter capabilities to defend the rear
  • Forward Weaponry - The majority of the Scythe II's weaponry are fielded on the fin, so they can have perfect angling for fire archs at whatever is in front of the ship, allowing all weapons to fire forward. However, this makes Broadside capabilities null & void.
  • Susceptible to Slicer Attack - Most if not all systems are automated. If the Internal Networking is infiltrated, the ship is liable to an attack by a slicer
Description: The Scythe II-class is effectively an upgrade from the original Scythe-class. The Scythe is meant to be a Warship, purely, and nothing else. The ship may be small, but internally it is also small. With the advance of technology in 800 ABY compared to 'yester-year,' systems are able to be reduced in size, considerably. While reducing all Civilian Stations no None, and reducing the size of all stations and systems, the ship changes size drastically. This ship has no place in Peace Time; it has no room for passengers, no room in the cargo for spare commodities like other ships wanting to make relief missions. The crew bunk rooms are reduced and bunks are doubled or tripled in one, hard bed, placement. This is not a comfort ship, there is no leisure or entertainment areas. There are no gardens or science labs.

Unfortunately, making the warship in such a way, makes it less of a long-term vessel. It can't just go through a hundred missions at a time without stopping. The ship has very few backup hardware pieces for repair, it has no material for critical repairs, it has extremely little military rations. It forces the vessel to dock at a station and give crew R&R and for repairs, as even its refreshers are no large than a commercial airplanes restroom. Typically, crew members would not live on the ship, but they would be rotated in shifts, to board from stations after a ship regularly docks for R&R and repairs. Leaving a crew on the ship for too long can result in psychological issues, and the onboard medical bay is not efficient enough to handle any critical wounds.

The ship is slightly unbalanced.

I sugged you either lower one rating, or add another genuine weakness.

May I work with you on reducing gun count to something good? I can go to Moderate. Unfortunately, I am no good at weaknesses

Edit
I added another weakness, how does that look?
