Description:
With the Tashai people having scant resources on a desert world they learned to build what they needed primarily from the bones and leather of the Sithspawn that wandered the wastelands and Sith Tombs. They thus learned to craft weapons from the bones of Tuk'ata, Battle Hydra, Hssiss, Terentateks, or whatever they could find. Mostly Tuk'ata however, due to their existing in a larger population and being much, much easier to kill. The soon realized however, that their bone knives and spears, while obviously better than hand to hand, did not provide exceptional assistance against the large sithspawn fought. While they make a blade strong enough to pierce hide, it really didn't help them much. So, many of the Tashai craftsman looked to one of the smaller beasts of Tash-Taral, the Pelko Bug. Armed with a toxin that in larger doses could paralyze humans they used their amalgamation of Force Imbueing and Sith Alchemy to create knives that were stained with the pelko bug's venom. With a few quick slices able to numb a limb they were effective tools against tuk'ata or rival tribes. In larger hunts a groups of warriors will throw spears armed with pelko bug venom in order to slow down larger beasts, for example a terentatek, to slow it's reflexes and make it more vulnerable for a kill shot, or if enough men are on hand, simply continue spearing the beast until it loses consciousness and kill it while it sleeps.
