Strengths:
 • The Banshee’s Scream - Because of the droid having only one specific function, it devotes itself almost entirely to this function. Closer to a Missile Platform than a wardroid as most know them, the Screecher possess two canisters that can contain up to 15 missiles. When fired, these missiles give off a distinctive screech before leaving their tubes. The reason this is a strength it is becomes a massive psychological weapon, especially when several are used in tandem as it will create and echoing scream that for those on the other side will suddenly become a warning before they are suddenly struck. The effect is much like that of soldiers hearing the whistling of a mortar before it hits, only this one longer, louder and more sustained.
 • Versatility - The use of missile weaponry means that this can be outfitted with numerous different missiles for numerous different enemies. Need some high explosives to reduce a building to ash or deal with heavy armored targets, add some in. How about some Napalm to clear out organics and droids that think they are safe in the cover of foliage? OR hey, you need some mobile SAMs to be let off at a bombing run, load this up with those.
 • Long Range - The use of missiles gives this weapon a range that is determined by its ammunition rather than a main cannon or weapon. This means that as long as the droid is able to link with the missiles through its systems, it could direct and target hostiles without worry of even stepping near the battlefield, giving it a range that is necessary.
Weaknesses:
 • Susceptible to jamming. - Should the droid ever experience sufficiently powerful jamming signals, control of missiles becomes unreliable and would force the droid to use them as line of sight weapons rather than guided systems. This severely hampers its abilities to defend itself when forced to fire by line of sight rather than guided systems.
 • Armor - The Droid itself is rather lightly armored for a assault vehicle of this magnitude. While still capable of surviving infantry based weaponry, anti-armor weapons and main battle vehicles and easily deal with it. Even grenades if used on joints can cause significant damage to the droid.
 • Them Legs. - Vulnerable points: Like the Jericho, and Hyperion models, the Screecher suffers from vulnerable points in its legs. Removal of the appendages would cause for the droid to quite literally become a sitting duck as it has no ways to defend itself should the enemy be smart enough to not stand in front of it afterwards.
 • Problems with turning: Because of the way the droid is set up, when it turns it must turn its full body rather than being able to turn its missile systems themselves.
Description: The Screecher, like its sister droids the Jericho and the Hyperion, is a droid built to fill the role that one would expect of a vehicle crewed by others. This creates a more expensive, but life saving weapon of war that can be used without the need to risk organic lives or buy a droid based crew, substituting the need for several crew members by several onboard computers. This as such required slightly more powerful power sources than what a vehicle of that function would need, thus adding to the extra cost.

Aside from these cost issues, the platform operates with a quickness that could only be achieved by a computer. This means more precise strikes, eliminating organic error that would be possible if it were crewed by them, and even operating at a faster pace than a droid crew. This makes for an extremely devastating product, able to strike at targets without even being seen beforehand. The scream that it gives off when launching its missiles is also a addition to this weapon, creating a psychological warfare effect similar to the whistle a mortar would make just before striking enemies, only longer, louder, and sustained in such a way that soldiers everywhere would hear it, causing them to take cover even if the missile launched might not be heading for them.

It is not without its weaknesses though, and the biggest of them is its being a glass cannon. While still capable of surviving infantry based weapons, anti-tank and armor weapons as well as any decently armed vehicle will reduce this thing to shreds should they get into range. While it can still defend itself, turning the front facing missile pods would be impossible, thus making it easy to circle if you catch it by surprise or are simply quicker. In addition to this, the systems used are largely wireless when it comes to guiding the missiles, the droid itself directing path and flight, thus meaning jamming could make long distance, out of sight strikes much more unreliable. While this can be solved by laser guided weapons connected to the ammunition, that does not affect the droid’s accuracy itself as it would still be jammed. This means should the droid have to aim itself, it would have to do so with a clear line of sight, putting itself in severe danger because of that before mentioned weaker armor.

Its speed and movement are benefits though. Being Quadrupedal, the droid is not restricted to flatter landscapes and could be used on rough terrain with much more ease. This is further improved when the use of magnetic and physical anchors that it possesses are used. This makes their versatility of use far greater and like the previous droids of this series, they are able to operate in locations which would be impossible for organics such as high radiation or severe temperature locations without the need for food and water, just power.
