Strengths: Sturdy- The Scrapper class is a very sturdy ship. It has a triple layer of shields that each provide it with protection from different things. The deflector shield provides general protection to the ship, the concussion shields provides protection from debris in space, and the ion shield protects the ship from ionic storms in atmospheres and in space. If the shields should ever fail then the ship is still able to withstand a beating thanks to the quadranium steel hull. While these are meant to protect the ship more from hazards during salvage operations, they also mean the ship can take a real beating if attacked.
Weaknesses: Labor Ship- The Scrapper class is a ship designed entirely around salvage and transportation. This specialization towards doing salvage jobs means the ship is limited in it's armament. It has a bare minimum number of laser canons on it to defend itself with if it should be attacked. These canons are further weakened by there only being 2 of them and both facing forward. A laser turret is mounted on the top of the ship to take shots in more directions, but a single canon can do little on its own if the ship ever gets flanked. All of this combined makes it better for the ship to flee rather than fight if attacked.

Description: Salvage ships are nearly impossible to find out in the galaxy. For a company that specializes in salvage operations this makes things difficult. Regular cargo ships end up having to be settled for and a large number of modifications have to be made to make them able to do the jobs properly. Ashhearth Industries decided to finally end this problem for themselves and other salvage companies by designing a small frigate ship specialized in salvage operations as well as transportation of cargo. The resulting ship was the Scrapper class Salvage-Frigate that was named after the very scrap metal it would be hauling.

The Scrapper class Salvage-Frigate is not a complicated ship. It has a hull made out of quadranium steel with three different types of shields. The ship parts, such as engines and a hyperdrive, were added in once the frame work was done. A pair of magnetic lines were built into the fore of the ship to allow for towing and connecting to derelict ships. A pair of laser canons were put in the front of the ship and a laser canon on the top of the ship for protection from pirates.

Duraglass was used in the cockpit so that pilots could pilot their ship safely. A communication system was built into the cockpit and to the living quarters, which were built into it for the crew and passengers. A medical bay was added on so any injuries that inevitably arise can be handled. A larger cargo hold was built in place of a hanger to allow for more scrap and salvage to be stored. The last things to be built into the ship were the escape pods and distress beacon. These were added in case the ship should ever go down.
