Description:

Sometimes a simple RPG isn't good enough, sometimes you need something that packs a bigger punch. So the Red Ravens working with Stargo Defense Enterprises introduces the Scrap Maker, a high explosive anti vehicle missile launcher. This weapon is made to do one thing and one thing only, completely obliterate any enemy armored opposition that is headed towards your position through a very simple point and shoot system.

The targeting computer on the launcher takes a good ten seconds to laze, identify, and lock on a target. During this time the operator must be completely stationary and unmoving for the computer to function, while your target can be moving the user must remain still. It can be used to target a multitude of vehicles from airborne craft such as star fighters, and drop ships, to tanks and large armored walkers. The scrap maker has the power to disable or destroy even the heftiest of foes.

With it's three fire mode system the scrap maker comes with options. With a standard RPG mode that is a simple point and shoot missile that let's its operator do the aiming. A basic targeting computer system that locks on to targets and communicates and programs the missile where to strike through it's propulsion system, however once a location is locked whether the target moves the missile will strike the point that was lazed, it will not adjust course for the target if it has moved. And finally it has the heat seeker on the warhead, once the computer has targeted something the heat seeker will fire and track that target, chasing it until either it or the missile is destroyed. The weapon can be prone to overheating but argon gas helps keep it cool.

This weapon system is not without flaws though. A deadly weapon such as this is rather heavy and unless the wielder is a wookie it normally takes two people to carry both the weapon and the spare ammunition, and while it is not required it is recommended that two man crews operate this weapon. Ion blasts and EMPs can also destroy this weapon leaving it completely worthless. If the weapon is physically damaged do not bother repairing it, it is unsafe and once the tube has become compromised the weapon system will quite literally explode in the users face. The scrap maker is great for dealing with slow moving air vehicles but it's bread and butter is made by dealing with ground based threats.

Back blast area, do not stand behind when firing!

to 2500 meters
The maximum range you're going to see with an RPG, specifically shoulder mounted ones, is around 800 to 1000 meters, 2500 meters is an incredible upgrade from that and will require more firepower, a larger fuel source, and would be too heavy to carry.
