BIOGRAPHY:
James Matthias Dredd: Peace Keeper, Death Dealer, Hard Ass. When the streets became Hell, you called Dredd. He was a Coruscanti legend; a law enforcement Hall of Famer. Yet, fact becomes legends which becomes mythology. As generations came and passed, no one remembered the man. His name remained, but only associated with boogeyman status: something scary intended to scare children, not men. None personally remember the man, but his exploits were recorded...his genetic material preserved.

After years of remaining inactive, ethics were refined and technology was improved enough to reconsider Janus: a human cloning project. This time, there would be no secrecy. Clones knew exactly where they came from and the people knew exactly what they're were: creations.

Scott is one of those clones. Born from the superb genetic material of James Matthias Dredd, Scott was raised to become a peace keeper, a law enforcer, a cop. He, like all the others, relished the prospect and welcomed the training they received in place of a normal, human social life. Isolation from society was normal until teenage years, where social integration became a part of the program. In an effort to raise peace keepers that maintained and held onto that all important "human touch" and not remain cold, calculating "machines" during their job, trainees were housed and schooled in a semi public district filled with both program instructors, other clones and regular civilians.

Of course, it was a nice neighborhood with a tighter security presence than you'd find in other places on Coruscant. It wasn't symmetric to real life, but it proved to positively show the clones what it meant to be human: compassion, love, justice, intellect, art, etc. Of course, clones would come to learn about more of the negatives sides of being human (whether through living example or class room training): greed, vice, wickedness, addiction; the type of stuff they'd have to readily face out there.

Upon reaching the age of 18, cadets would transition into the lowest level of the Coruscanti Police Force. Some stayed local whilst others were transferred halfway around the world.

Scott loved the city district he'd grown up near and in. He'd grown up and fallen in love with his childhood sweetheart, Alice (Designation: EEV-10). She was tall, like the other clones, but was a perfect two inches shorter than Scott. Oh, she's perfect. Long blonde hair, big sparkling sapphire eyes, an adorable demeanor, the whole nine yards. She was capable, yet tender. Despite the varied differences and spats they occasionally had, they were a match made in heaven...or a lab, as some would like to joke.

You see, relationships among clones was a weird topic and everyone had an opinion. Some uneducated people would catch-all label it as in-breeding, when the reality was that, even though they used Dredd as a main template, there had been multiple, diverse modifications throughout each and every clone produced. Diverse, yet similar. What was odd was that solid romantic relationship bonds were a rarity amidst Janus. Many clones would normally see each other more often as fellow brothers and sisters than possible romantic partners. Although inter-romance is minimally fussed about by clones themselves, the trend typically involved clones finding romance outside of Janus.

Regardless of your opinion of the matter, the fact openly remained that clones were engineered purposefully to not be able to reproduce. Sure, all the parts were there. However, the key ingredients to form a zygote were made absent as part of the creation process. Pregnancy would be a setback to progress and it would be unethical to jeopardize a potential fetus' ability to live and grow in case any unforeseen consequence was born of the clone's framework.

Now, Scott's been on the scene for 4 years, just like Alice. Although not partnered together, they find plenty of opportunities to work together and spend time, if only professional time, together.
