TRAITS & BIOGRAPHY
Schmitterling is mostly docile. He is the king. The biggest on entity on Mirial, there is nothing for the ginormous ball of fluff to worry about. It merely wanders around the planet aimlessly, looking up at the skies or down at the world around it. There seems to be really nothing much behind those eyes. If wanders too near to a civilisation, due to his phototactic positively, he is easily manouvred away with the use of light and sound.
However, Schmit is prone to getting territorial and destructive when significantly large ships invades his territory. The frequencies of sirens can also trigger it to become aggressive. While there has been debates and petitions to put Schmitterling down, due to his large size posing a threat for civilians and its large range of force negativity, all have been negated. It just would simply take too much artillery and power to take down a creature of its size. Now schmetterling has become one of the tourist attractions on Mirial.
BIOGRAPHY:
How ever this creature came to existence is a mystery. Sightings of the odd creature were reported 12 years ago when it was only a foot larger than a bear. Many scientists began documenting and studying it. It earned the name schmetterling. DNA samples were taken, but they could not be traced to a specific origin, it was believed to be the product of alchemy. The creature grew rapidly, seeming to feed only on the force nearby. While its midi chlorian count was exponentially high, it did not seem to possess much threat.
