Scavenger Hunt of Ships

Location: Aboard the Searcher on SJO Border
Friends: [member="Alkor Centaris"]
Chaperone: [member="Arisa Yune"]

Aedan Miles had a long list of ships he was after he had heard rumors that two of the list might be found in SJO space so after some bartering and negotiating he had been able to achieve access to their space to search for the ships but he was to take along someone from their group to keep an eye on the ex pirate. He couldn't really blame them so he sat in his newly bought IFW Victory-class waiting on their border for their representative to show up at the moment he and his old friend Alkor were in the officers lounge drinking from some of Aedan's private stock laughing about the good old days in Aedan's Case.

Alkor sipped at the refined drink with a critical eye. It was richer than he generally paid for, but then, the Jen'jidai had always been a frugal man. "Bit too classy for me," he muttered as he swirled the drink in his hand. "It's drinkable, though."

[member="Aedan Miles"] broke the ice by asking about the drink. After Alkor gave an earnest answer, though, the topic turned quickly to things about the past, and what had happened since last they met. It was a nice change of pace from the general combat chat, but only just. Social interaction had never been Alkor's forte.

He listened as the man talked about piracy and various other enterprises, but when he finally broached the topic of being Mandaloian, Alkor glanced up. He took another sip of the private stock, then placed the glass down.

"I never imagined that I'd be self employed," he mused. "Let alone working for a PMC, or helping with rebuilding a world instead of destroying one." The Corellian exile leaned back in his seat and folded his arms.

"But I digress, what's the job this time?"

Aedan glanced at Alkor before he let out a sigh setting his own glass down he leaned forward letting a tired grin cross his lips as he held up one hand using the force to draw a data pad to it. "Well seeing as how my new boss wouldn't hire me unless I gave up Piracy I am now out scavenging some ships that I think might be in the area to add to my force. Yes I really did give up Piracy the Pirate King no longer stalks the hyperspace lanes." He opened the datapad turning on a holo table nearby that would bring up the scaled down image of three ships turning towards them Aedan gestured calmly. The largest and first ship to appear was the Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer used by the old Sith Empire, along side it was a ship half its size the Xo'xaan mark 2 star destroyer another Sith ship, the last one was a ship that had a slight Mon Calamari design to it know as the MC220 Bel Ilbis-class Star Destroyer. He grinned savagely as he gestured towards them calmly. "During my most recent visit to Voss I had scouts out in the SJO territory that reported sites of these ships some of them were completely dead in space others weren't moving but had power to at least life support so there may still be people on them. If there are I am going to be counting on you to help me clear them. We are just waiting for the chaperone from the Silvers to show up. For some reason people don't trust me."

"I wonder why," Alkor mused mirthlessly. His gaze moved back down to his class. "Our actions ripple not only in the Force, but also in social circles. People don't soon forget perceived abhorrent acts of murder, or of theft."

There was a subtle hint of bitterness in those words, but Alkor sipped his drink to drown it. "Hard to believe you'd subscribe to a boss who forced you to give up your lifestyle. I seem to recall your near-refusal to lay down for Mand'alor."

There was some doubt in Alkor's mind that [member="Aedan Miles"] would ever give up the life of a pirate for good. Perhaps for a short time, while the fleeting alliances lasted. The other Dark Jedi seemed the type who might not stay loyal to a King or Emperor for long. Alkor certainly understood that.

"So, clear out any survivors and seize the vessels. Simple enough. If you have Conner Nets, you should utilize them to keep the ships from escaping in the event that they are still manned and crews are trying to get them back online."

As he finished speaking, Alkor glanced out at Voss, not so far from them. They were outside the planet's gravity shadow, but he could see defensive emplacements between them and it. "So, we're cooperating with Jedi, then," he murmured. His lips pulled down in a slight frown.

"That's unfortunate."
