Custom-made for Faye Malvern, the fitted second-skin leather bodysuit, gloves, and boots offer tremendous protective capabilities. Providing a sleek silhouette, the armor is very lightweight, and owing to the combination of shell spider silk and elastex, allows for total freedom of movement. VT-Lattice Cloth is sandwiched between Terentatek and Maalraas leather, which is then dyed with Norris Root dyes, making it all but impervious to Force abilities, lightsabers, blasters, projectile weapons, melee weapons (including vibroblades), and the elements. Any lightsaber duelist or Force-using warrior would welcome these advantages, making the Scarlet Lady a formidable foe indeed.
Of course, this armor is no substitute for an EVA suit or similar garments, and is designed entirely for close-quarters combat, being durable, light, and tailored to allow comfortable wear for hours, even days if needed. Lacking the complex onboard shields, offensive weapons, computer systems, sensors and other gadgets commonly found in most modern armor, the Scarlet Lady is a throwback to the earliest days of the Jedai’i Order. Going further still, Sith Alchemy and Magic were used in its construction, giving the wearer a profound sense of calm, focus, and resilience, empowering her own Force abilities and combative prowess. FrictionGrip is added to the boots and gloves to aid in agility and maintaining a firm hold on weapons, while Shadowsilk is used in the lining to deaden noise and allow for stealthy movement. Thermal impact gel enables her to absorb the shock of jumps from as high as 3-4m onto solid surfaces without damage.
A classic revival which combines practicality and extreme protection with a bold, slinky look, the deep red armor acts like a second-skin and is an ideal choice for any Dark-learning warrior such as Faye.
