DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
It's a polearm with two blades made of an alusteel and cortosis alloy. The alusteel adds strength to the brittle nature of the cortosis, and the cortosis adds lightsaber and blaster resistance to the weapon, meaning that strikes from lightsabers will not cut through the weapon or destroy it.

Strengths:
  • Lightsaber and blaster resistant
  • Good reach
Weaknesses :
  • Not good up close, requires reach
  • Does not deflect blaster fire like a lightsaber would

DESCRIPTION
On the world that Sayo comes from, there are a variety of traditional weapons. She could opt for a sword, and she usually carries a shorter one, but it never suited her physique and personal combat style in such a way as the naginata does. With its reach and requirement for finesse and careful timing, the weapon is not suited for the same sort of close range a lightsaber or sword combatant would desire. A naginata wielder often strikes from range and then slips back away from an advancing opponent, always keeping out of arms reach in order to avoid being struck. The world she comes from has cortosis ore pockets, but in such small quantities that only individual weapons can be made from them, and those weapons are traditionally only given to the best of warriors by the Shogun himself. That was how Sayo obtained hers. It is resistant to blaster fire and lightsabers, as she discovered when she arrived among the Sith, but it will not deflect blaster fire back to an opponent. The dual blade design allows for additional striking capability in the form of upward sweeps without the necessity of changing hand grips. In essence, it creates the perfect weapon for someone who strikes quick and hard before recoiling away from an opponent.

[member="Tezuka Sayo"] - Not nearly enough polearm use on Chaos! Kudos!

Your main image is broken, you may want to fix/replace that.

Alloying Alusteel & Cortosis - Does this do anything other than make the Cortosis less brittle?

Original image host seems unreliable so I've rehosted and left the source as it was.

And no, it's just meant to make the cortosis less brittle, making it viable for use in a polearm that will likely end up fighting against lightsabers. :)
