  • Saverok stands as an anomaly.

Hailing from a bygone era, relentless, and entirely unpredictable. His Gen'dai physiology makes him appear seemingly indestructible, capable of healing from injuries that would incapacitate and outright anyone else. What should be a blessing is instead a curse, as it amplifies his greatest flaw: An uncontrollable thirst for battle. With every fight and wound, his body regenerates, but his mind does not. His fractured memories and distorted sense of time leave him lost in a fog of confusion, unable to differentiate between past and present and at times friend and foe. This instability makes him as dangerous to himself as he is to anyone unfortunate enough to face him.

His mind is a battlefield in its own right. Disorganized with less clarity, until he can no longer remember why he's fighting—only that he must fight. This lack of purpose makes him a wildcard, unpredictable in ways that make him nearly impossible to counter by logical means. His enemies may think they've bested him the coherent version of him, only for Saverok to rise again, more aggressive and dangerous than before, unrecognizable as the person he once was. As if evoking a past version of himself and in many ways he does.

To Saverok, there is no longer a distinction between moral concepts and ideology like good and evil. Galactic Alliance or Sith Empire. Mandalorians or Imperials. All are simply enemies to be crushed under his boot, and he will not hesitate to strike first if they get in his way, even if it means harming his "allies". The once-proud Jedi warrior who fought for peace has become a chaotic force of destruction. He is a living nightmare, but one whose mind is barely tethered to reality. In a way, his greatest enemy is himself—the warrior who has fought so many battles, lost so many memories, that he no longer knows who he is or what he's truly fighting for. But this lack of self-awareness is what makes him so dangerous. He can barely be reasoned with and even then, all it takes is time and pressure for that to be undone.

Never turn your back on him.

    Never.

  • HISTORY

    (3,502 BBY – 3,681 BBY)

Saverok was born in 3,502 BBY, an anomaly even among the Jedi Order. As a Gen'dai, he was functionally immortal, his body composed of dense, fibrous muscle strands capable of regenerating from nearly any injury. He was taken as a youngling by the Jedi Order, his unique physiology considered both an asset and a challenge. His instructors found him to be a quick learner and an exceptional warrior, but his temperament set him apart.

Unlike other younglings, Saverok did not fear pain or injury—he did not learn restraint, because he did not have to. He threw himself into training with reckless abandon, overwhelming his sparring partners through sheer endurance. The Jedi Masters debated his future. Some saw his raw power as a gift to be honed, while others feared his lack of control. He was knighted earlier than most, a necessity rather than an honor, sent to the front lines of the Great Galactic War in hopes that war would temper his spirit.

    (3,681 BBY – 3,653 BBY)

Saverok's first true battles were against the Sith Empire, and he flourished in combat. He was tireless, fearless, relentless—his regenerative abilities meant that injuries which would cripple others barely slowed him down. His fellow Jedi fought with strategy and caution, but Saverok fought with abandon. He waded through Sith forces, cutting them down one after another, his body riddled with wounds that stitched themselves back together before the battle was over.

But war did not temper him—it only fed his bloodlust. Saverok took to lingering on battlefields, seeking out dying enemies to finish them himself. At first, it was rationalized: an act of mercy, a necessary measure to ensure no Sith survived. But over time, his justification crumbled, leaving only hunger. He stopped distinguishing between Sith and Republic enemies, cutting down anyone who got in his way.

Then came the Sacking of Coruscant. He was present when the Sith Empire struck, watching the capital of the Republic burn. The Order was helpless, and for the first time, Saverok saw them as weak. The Jedi Code had done nothing to stop this war. The Jedi had done nothing. And so, he left. He discarded his robes and his lightsaber, vanishing into the shadows of the galaxy.

    (3,653 BBY – 3,000 BBY)

Disillusioned with the Jedi, Saverok drifted, until he found himself among the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. Unlike the Jedi, the Mandalorians did not preach restraint. They did not hold back, they did not fear war—they embraced it. And so did he.

He earned his place quickly. His strength and endurance made him an ideal shock trooper, and he was unleashed on Republic forces in the Mandalorian Wars. His commanders marveled at his ability to charge into fortified positions, soak up enemy fire, and keep fighting. He no longer fought for a cause—only for battle itself. It was in these years that he sustained his first real injuries. Blaster fire, explosives, even lightsaber wounds—they all took their toll, and while his body always regenerated, something else did not.

    His mind.

Every time his neural pathways healed, they did so imperfectly. Memories blurred, emotions distorted. He began to forget names, faces. Events from centuries prior overlapped with the present. He would mistake allies for enemies, enemies for ghosts from his past. But still, he fought, because war was the only thing that made sense.

    Then came Malachor V.

    (3,000 BBY)

He was on the surface when Revan's Mass Shadow Generator activated, tearing the planet apart. The shockwave crushed armies, vaporized warships, and sent tremors through the Force itself. Saverok survived—his body twisted, broken, but mending. Yet his mind was another matter. The chaos, the destruction, the sheer weight of so many deaths at once—it shattered what little stability he had left.

When he emerged, he was different. He could not recall how long he had been buried. His memories were scattered. The war was over, but he did not know what war. He wandered, hunting Jedi, Mandalorians, Sith—anyone he remembered as an enemy, even if the wars they fought in had ended centuries ago.

    (3,000 BBY – 2,000 BBY)

The following millennium was a blur of conflict. He became a mercenary, fighting for credits he did not need, against enemies he did not always recognize. His regenerative abilities kept him alive, but his mind degraded further with each battle, each injury, each cycle of destruction and rebirth. He fought in the New Sith Wars, serving as an enforcer for warlords he barely remembered the names of. He was exiled from Sith forces after massacring one of his own warbands in a fit of confusion. He witnessed the rise of Darth Bane and the Rule of Two, dismissing it as cowardice. By the time the Republic reformed, Saverok was little more than a specter, a name whispered in war zones. He appeared in battles only to vanish again, his existence a myth told among warriors who feared the monster that did not die.

    (32 BBY – 4 ABY)

When the Clone Wars began, he resurfaced. He fought on both sides, engaging Jedi, Sith, clones, and droids alike. But something had changed. The battles felt hollow. The war was vast, but it was orchestrated. It was not true war, only a game played by unseen hands. When the Empire rose, he watched from the shadows. He did not see an empire—only another Republic waiting to crumble. He avoided the Jedi Purge, evaded Imperial eyes, and retreated into the Unknown Regions.

    (4 ABY – 900 ABY)

He drifted through wars without purpose, taking part in battles he would forget the next day. He fought for and against warlords, for and against the New Republic. He tried to rally Mandalorians to the Neo-Crusader cause once more, but they had grown weak, content with being bounty hunters and mercenaries. Disgusted, he disappeared.

For centuries, he wandered. He forgot more than he remembered. His past blurred into myth, his own identity slipping away.

    The Awakening(900 ABY – Present)

When he finally awoke, the galaxy had changed yet again. Mandalorians had splintered. The Jedi and Sith still waged their endless war. And in the shadows, whispers of Neo-Crusaders rising once more reached his ears. A smile crossed his lips. Perhaps war had not left him behind after all. Perhaps there was still a place for a monster like him.

    STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

    • Regenerative biology
      • Gen'dai do not heal in the conventional sense—they restore. Their bodies are not composed of rigid skeletal structures or singular vital organs but rather a decentralized, hyper-resilient network of regenerative nerve-fibers and muscle. Unlike most species, whose injuries require cellular repair at the site of damage, a Gen'dai's body is, in a sense, in a constant state of renewal, seamlessly knitting itself back together with little regard for the extent of the damage. Even if completely dismembered, a Gen'dai does not "die"—its biology merely reorganizes. As long as a single strand of their neural tissue remains intact, regeneration is not only possible but inevitable. The surviving mass, no matter how small, instinctively works to rebuild itself, using an accelerated form of cellular replication that reconstructs lost tissue at an alarming rate. This is what gives the species their reputation for being allegedly "immortal", when in fact they are not. If a Gen'dai takes enough damage across their entire form, it can trigger a response that prioritizes regeneration and only regeneration. In layman's terms a sort of hibernation begins which incapacities the Gen'dai. This has the potential to leave them very vulnerable for a time.
    • Near instantaneous reflexes
      • Im a walking nerve cluster. For Saverok, reflexes are not completely a conscious process—they are a constant, automatic response to the world around him. Because his nervous system isn't confined to a single location, signals travel at astonishing speeds across his entire form. If an attack comes from behind, he doesn't need to see it; his body senses the disturbance and moves before his mind fully registers the threat. To outsiders, this may make him seem preternatural—dodging attacks with impossible precision, striking before his opponent has even finished their movement. But this heightened awareness comes at a cost. He doesn't always have the luxury of delay, of hesitation as he did in his younger years. His body is conditioned for instant, violent reaction. If someone startles him, his response could be lethal before he can even consider holding back. For Saverok, there is no such thing as a harmless shove or a playful spar—his body only knows war, and it reacts accordingly.
    • Enchanced Sensory Acuity
      • He does not simply see or hear the world, he feels it on a level few could ever comprehend. Saverok's nervous system is not centralized like most other species; it is a distributed network spanning his entire body. Each cluster of nerves operates semi-independently, processing information with an efficiency that makes traditional senses seem primitive. This allows him to detect life itself—not just through sound, but through a convergence of bioelectric fields, vibrations, and even the subtlest biological rhythms. In this way, Saverok does not need to physically see an enemy to know they are there; their very physiology betrays them. When coherent, Saverok is able tell when someone is lying, able to predict their emotional state and feel their heartbeat from hundreds of meters away. But for all its advantages, such heightened awareness comes at a cost. Saverok does not have the luxury of turning off his perception. Conversations feel sluggish, social interactions tedious. When others pause to think, he grows restless—why wait when his mind has already moved ahead? In a city or battlefield, he is bombarded by thousands of overlapping heartbeats, the ebb and flow of anxiety and deceit, the constant rhythm of life itself. While he is conditioned to the noise, it is still irritating and forces him to rely heavily on pattern recognition to find specifics.
