Rationale: Designed as a part of the reclamation and salvage division. For applying technology found into useful ways that can benefit such as with new droids for gathering equipment. The harder work they have been doing to recover information and expand leading to wanting to make their own droids in house for less credits. The salvaged designs and materials they are able to get from exploring and working with reclamation offices and the salvage it can create a nice way to look over hundreds of designs from different groups throughout the centuries for learning what works and what does work as the jedi company set out to build up some new things and interests.

Description: The advanced metal workers and droid builders are made to give the jedi new model training droids they can use or advanced scout probes. Some of the equipment they had been buying at mark up to complete daily operations within facilities and stations. Matsu's tinkering with some of them allowing her to enjoy the prospect of more droids like Harmony.
Then came the hard part of funding which was handled through the mines s well as some of the metals and ores they acquired. With the technological applications from other divisions they could make combat droids designed by soldiers for use by soldiers and training droids programmed by jedi instead of with basic programming and some general settings.
The final piece of building up the division came with some of the work she did with Menka in salvaging old model droids that could be re-purposed or cannibalize to make new machines and versions of their work. Acquiring Chai La a group and company of mandalorins who worked gave her more intimate knowledge and some ideas of the ancient basilisks as well as versions of them like the transports or ridable versions.
