  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Alor Sari'la: Forged in a Lost Future

Sari'la and her kin were not born of Mandalore's soil, nor did their childhood echo with the clang of the forge on Concordia. They were a creation of the Imperial war machine, a hundred years ago, in the Empire's relentless pursuit of galactic dominance. Conceived in sterile laboratories by Imperial scientists, they were a synthetic clan, their genetic code interwoven with the ferocity and resilience of Mandalorian warriors. Their minds were imprinted with flash-training: decades of combat techniques, the tenets of the Resol'nare, and the echoes of Mandalorian culture, all downloaded in a matter of weeks. They were weapons, purpose-built for the Empire's will.

Their first deployment was to be a baptism by fire: the quelling of Chiss insurrectionists on the icy world of Csilla. Packed into cryostasis pods aboard a heavily armed transport, they embarked on their long journey, their activation sequence timed for their arrival. But fate, as it often does in the vast emptiness of space, had a different trajectory planned.

Deep into their voyage, the ship was ravaged by a violent spatial anomaly. A tear in the fabric of reality ripped through the vessel, its raw energy tearing apart anything not shielded within the cryo-pods. The Imperial crew, their purpose to deliver this manufactured force, were instantly annihilated. Yet, the ship's automated navigation computer, its programming unwavering, registered the anomaly and continued its century-long trajectory towards the now-distant Csilla.

One hundred years drifted by in frozen slumber. Finally, the ship reached its destination, the pre-programmed activation sequence initiating. Sari'la was the first to awaken. The hum of the life support systems was the only sound in the echoing corridors. Her senses, though synthetic in origin, registered the cold, sterile environment. But it was the view through the viewport that sent a cold dread through her flash-imprinted understanding of the galaxy.

Csilla was gone. A shattered husk of ice and debris, a silent testament to some unimaginable catastrophe. The Empire, the entity that had given her and her clan their purpose, was absent, a ghost in the galactic tapestry. Their mission, their reason for being, had vanished with the world they were meant to conquer.

Alone on a flagless vessel, adrift in a future that was not meant to be, Sari'la's core programming, the deep-seated directives of her Mandalorian imprinting, began to assert themselves. The concept of clan, of belonging, of a shared identity, resonated within her artificial neural pathways. Taking command of the silent bridge, her voice, though never used before, held a note of resolute authority. To the slumbering forms in the cryo-pods, she declared their new reality, their new purpose. "Wake," she commanded the dormant vessel, her words echoing in the void. "We are Mandalorian. And this ship… this ship will take us home. I am your Alor and you are Kandosii." A new path, forged in loss and guided by instinct, had begun for the bio-engineered warriors of a forgotten empire.

  • APPEARANCE

She has black hair and dark brown eyes, her physique is genetically flawless and perfectly balanced having only recently left her cryopod. She has liberated makeup and jewellery from the quarters of the Imperial Moff that what was lost on the ship and she enjoys wearing them so far but she has not learned her own style yet.

  • PERSONALITY

Despite her recent awakening into a drastically altered galaxy, this young Alor carries herself with an inherent confidence, a direct result of her bio-engineered superiority and the ingrained flash-training that dictates her preeminence. She possesses an unshakeable belief in her combat prowess and strategic capabilities, viewing herself as the apex of her manufactured clan and their rightful leader, a truth imprinted deep within her synthetic being.

However, the century-long sleep and the stark reality of a fallen Empire have begun to chip away at this ingrained certainty. The galaxy she was programmed to conquer is gone, replaced by an unfamiliar and often confusing landscape. The unwavering directives of her training are now confronted by the nuances and complexities of a world beyond Imperial control, allowing seeds of doubt to sprout in the once-fertile ground of her conviction.

Yet, one tenet remains strong: her respect for the Mandalorian way. The flash-implanted culture, the honor codes, the emphasis on combat and clan – these resonate deeply within her. Even as the galaxy challenges her programmed worldview, she clings to the structure and purpose offered by the Mandalorian ethos, seeing it as a guiding star in this unexpected and uncertain future. Her journey will be defined by the tension between her ingrained certainty and the dawning realization that the galaxy, and her place within it, may not be as predetermined as her creators intended.

    STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

HONED WARRIOR: Her entire existence was to be a weapon and her skills are quite literally programmed into her DNA and flashed into her mind.

FORCE GHOST: She cannot be mind tricked, confused, detected or otherwise directly affected by the force.

STRENGTH OF CLAN: She has a small but utterly unified and loyal clan of warriors that she can call on, all as well trained and capable as she is.

GALACTIC NAIVETY: She was never meant to be running around the galaxy with and semblance of freedom so only learned the things she needed.

FORCE DEAD: She cannot benefit from the force in a similar way as not being able to be directly affected
