- Distinctions: Sanahka have a similar ability to the Thahbalahn, by utilizing the force to vibrate the sand around them into a near-liquid state. Unlike the Thahbalahn though the Sanahka are not innately force imbued but rather consume so much Dust left behind by the Thahbalahn that they are able to use very weak force telekinetic abilities. If a Sanahka is taken away from its natural environment for long it loses all ability to manipulate sand. Even if there is a 'drought' of Dust the Sanahka is fine as they have specialized organs that store Dust to supplement their diet.

- Speed: The Sanahka is incredibly fast in its natural habitat. The fastest known Sanahka was recorded at a speed of 118km/hr.
- Super Stomach: The stomachs of the Sanahka are incredibly advanced and are able to break down and safely digest most kinds of organic matter regardless of natural poisons or age of decomposition.
- Fish out of Sand: Should a Sanahka be taken out of the dunes of their home they become incredibly immobile, only able to crawl incredibly slowley with their flippers.
- Force Weakness: The Sanahka depend on the force for locomotion. Should they be deprived of Dust to consume or come into contact with something that suppresses the Force they'll lost locomotion capabilities besides their crawling. If they're under the sand when this happens they could even suffocate.
- Diet: Carnivore. Scavenger and opportunistic predator
- Communication: Sanahka communicate through very deep groans and tones that can reverberate through the ground for dozens of kilometers.

- General behavior: Sanahka persist mostly through filter-feading, straining small creatures and the crushed up particles of shed Thahbahlan skins from the useless sand they swim through. Occasionally schools of Sanahka are known to attack small Thahbahlan or smaller surface creatures which can fit in their mouths, but are typically scared away easily if they feel their prey is any serious danger to them.
The Sanahka have existed on Ahk-Ourobha for far longer than any catalogue has existed of the world and act as only a handful of species that have learned how to navigate the Great Desert. The similar sand-liquidifying ability that the Sanahka possesses to the Thahbalahn has made some believe that they are evolutionarily linked somehow, but due to no decent fossil record on Ahk-Ourobha it is difficult to confirm this. What is known is that the Sanahka serve as the clean up crew of the desert, scavenging the tidbits left behind by larger predators in a never ending nomadic journey across the planet.
