[SIZE=11pt]Derith is what some may call, a late bloomer. Her appearance might almost be described as childlike in many respects with her short stature, dainty frame and round face. Samka’s eyes are large and round with a button shaped nose. She also has a line of freckles spreading outwards across her cheeks. Samka takes great pride in appearances, believing they are the most important thing in forming a lasting impression yet she is also driven by the more base desire to be [/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]pretty[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]. She makes sure her hair remains full and well-groomed. Her skin is always clean and unblemished. Now even as she approaches her 20th year, the typical features of a woman finished with puberty may not be fully apparent with a modest bust and hips helping to create a picture of innocence.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]For her clothing, Samka adores elaborate gowns and dresses, believing they make her refined and elegant. A pity for her that the opportunity to wear them comes so rarely. Instead she’ll likely be wearing dark robes adorned with a cloak or a civilian outfit picked to her mission.[/SIZE]

She had few friends and relied heavily on those she made to starve off loneliness. Even now trace elements of those insecurities remain buried deep beneath the surface. But they are buried very deep indeed. Now Samka’s [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]demeanour[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] can be cold, blunt and sarcastic in a deliberate attempt to rebuff attachment. Given that the girl has rarely known a friendly relationship, she has convinced herself that it is not necessary despite her subconscious desire for acceptance.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]In spite of the seemingly aloof attitude, Samka is protective of those she deems under her care, typically other Ren or associates working with her. The young girl is less ethusised with the preservation of life and more concerned with how their deaths may reflect on her. [SIZE=11pt]Elegance and refinement are two qualities Samka values in herself. She strives to remain dignified in all scenarios and can do so, by and large. However in moments of intense anger, the girl may snap into an almost feral state. The insanity which pushed her towards the Dark Side to begin with has only rotted further, concealed beneath a fairly amiable surface. Samka is bloodthirsty, sadistic, cruel and deranged, a side of her only seen in the appropriate circumstances.[/SIZE]
History:
[SIZE=11pt]Childhood:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Born to wealthy industrialists on Cloud City, Samka was raised in the luxury of a large apartment near the very top of Bespin’s most famous city. Her father heavily restricted her activities to try and raise a prodigal daughter who would become the heir to his industrial empire. Samka’s childhood was spent learning, training and being tutored. There was a pay off for the Derith family, their daughter showed great ability in gymnastics, singing, dancing and fencing before she even reached double digits, winning or being a close runner up in many child talent contests but the price was a lonely, overly sheltered child. At school, she made only a few friends with virtually no time to spend with them outside of school hours. The lone exception was a Zeltron girl by the name of Madlin, another student from Lady Ilka's School for Gifted Girls. The two grew extraordinarily close with Sam latching onto her single friend for her support and happiness.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]It wouldn't be enough.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Despite Madin’s best efforts, one girl’s support couldn't save Sam from the bullying of her peers and emotional neglect of her parents. Samka began to display odd behaviour, isolating herself from others and reacting to voices and images which weren’t there. At the same time her latent instincts with the Force began to appear with threats to other children becoming mind tricks or bullies being weakly pushed away with kinetic abilities. The unhappy climax was an incident at a restaurant where, in an argument with her father, Samka unknowingly [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]channelled[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] the Dark Side for the first time in a bout of long repressed rage. Several hapless bystan[/SIZE]ders were injured in the incident which her father, Osilus Derith, was humiliated by. Osilus’s dreams of nurturing a prodigy child to take over upon his eventual passing were dashed and he quickly sent his daughter to a high security institution for juniors. But Samka’s time there would be brief.
[SIZE=11pt]The Knights of Ren:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]One night, just over a month since her [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]admittance[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt], two nurses were paid a substantial sum to smuggle the girl from the hospital and into the hands of a mysterious masked group. They were the Knights of Ren, the shadowy enforcers of the re-emerging empire in the outer rim, the First Order. Sam woke up alone and afraid in the hands of a fanatical Order of the Dark Side. In the years that came, they [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]moulded[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] her into a deadly agent. An infiltrator to deceive their enemies. The training was harsh and rarely did she leave the facility for younglings on Skye.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]She was picked out and groomed by one of the Masters during this time, nurtured as a Battle [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]Mediator[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt] to support the armies of the First Order if needed. Her talents with a blade and attunement with mentalist aspects of the Force made her stand apart from her peers deeming Derith to already be a capable asset, she became an active agent on her 16th birthday.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]In the field, Samka’s initial success was mixed, her missions were largely successful and she eliminated multiple threats to the First Order’s interest, the Disciple’s involvement with events on the planet Cir was identified as the key factor in establishing the First Order’s control of the planet. In spite of this, Samka’s attitude left much to be desired by her superiors: she was brash, entitled and petty. However she never shied from the diligence of her work nor from the loyalty of the cause. After repeated success, Derith was made a fully fledged Knight of Ren.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Her first test as a Knight was very nearly her last. In the far corner of the galaxy, the declining empire of the One Sith splintered with a rogue faction of Sith obtaining control over a galactic superweapon the likes of which were unseen for centuries. In the absence of available more senior personnel, Samka was hastily dispatched as one of the leaders of the First Order’s task force to destroy the weapon from within and crush the deranged Sith splinter group before the threat was widespread. Upon boarding the Omega Superweapon, Sam became the first outsider to come face to face with the Sith Lord leading it all: Kith Verloren and paid the price for it. Clinically speaking, the girl was dead after the Sith Lord’s attack yet she was revived somehow by a vision of Madlin. Samka has since dedicated her free time to rediscovering her friend but the trail has grown cold.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Time as a Knight reshaped Samka in subtle ways. She grew colder, submerging herself more fully in the Dark Side and gained vital experience in leadership. After fighting multiple battles against the Galactic Alliance and building her own powers in the background, Derith was awarded the rank of Master of the Knights of Ren and finally accepted a title of her own, Decitus Ren.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]However her path didn’t stop there. In a move which may have been controversial in another organisation, Samka Derith was almost immediately bolstered to the most exclusive upper echelons of the Order of Ren to become an Overlord Council [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]Member[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt]. The words of the Supreme Leader were not to be doubted, the chance to shape one so young into a loyal lieutenant was too great an opportunity to ignore.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Her time on the Council was, relatively speaking, a happy one. Under her [/SIZE][SIZE=14.6667px]guidance[/SIZE][SIZE=11pt], the Knights of Ren expanded their strength and numerous victories came to them. The hated enemy, the Galactic Alliance and their Jedi Order, were destroyed but with their defeat came Derith's departure. With the war won, The Supreme Leader had other plans for the girl and pulled her back into the shadows to help steer his newer and more mystifying plans...[/SIZE]

Forms feelings of attachment with allies and even worthy long term foes- overcome. Samka's descent further down the Dark Side has almost destroyed any true feelings of attachment.- Childish appearance and youth isn't always taken seriously - This can make intimidation difficult for the girl.
