On the eve of the Confrontation that ultimately led to his removal from power on Byss , Marlon Sularen devised a plan to maintain and project his influence within the Core Worlds even if he loss Byss. This Plan , dubbed Operation : Failsafe was immediately put into implementation when Sularen was overthrown on Byss as the Politorate was tasked in overseeing the Operation. As part of Operation : Failsafe , the Politorate began assembling a Cadre of Ex-Core Imperial Units and Individuals such as the 202nd Legion , Remnants of the 327th Star Corps and Former CIC General Aridna Hux and establishing a Private Military Corporation dubbed Salient Interstellar officially aiming to help maintain law and order throughout the Core and Deep Core while in reality serving as a Front for the Grand Overseer of the Final Dawn to ensure the continuation of his Influence in the Region.
RATIONALE
Created via the merger of various Ex-Core Imperial Units which had become Mercenaries by this time , Salient Interstellar was formed with the main objective of projected Marlon Sularen's Influence and Power under the guise of providing Law Enforcement , Private Security an Ground Combat Support to Local Governments within the Core and Deep Core. With most of it's members being Veteran Soldiers and Officers of the Core Imperial Confederation , Salient Interstellar aims to officially establish themselves as a reliable Private Military Company and help maintain Law and Order throughout the entirety of the Deep Core and Core Worlds with most of it's members unaware of the true purpose of Salient Interstellar
