Description: Designed by Sakura as a somewhat healing agent. After one of the people who helps them was given a brief case of the near deads on Atrisia in the battle there. THe history that goes with it and some of the interest. It is designed to work with many of the things that Sakura has been producing using all of their medical technology along with more of the interests that they have in different designs.
The battle Atrisia itself was stranger compared to most as the reasoning was unclear, there was an insult or something but Bellalika was unsure as she had been working with the inquisition itself and there to aid in the defense of the planet. As the Lords of the Fringe came down towards the planet they were bringing walkers, ships and soldiers towards the main tower where Kitt Solo was infiltrating.
As the battle raged on the infiltrating Kitt moved up the length of the tower and set explosives until she got to the top of the tower and when the Fringe army was moving through ready to attack the walkers and soldiers before the young inquisitor felt something at her back. The woman had spartan kicked her as they were looking over to start off the incident in the battle and send her off the tower before detonation.
As the woman escaped, Ballalika fell and impacted the side of a walker that had been smashed and destroyed. Surviving long enough for a chunk of the tower to fall and crush the rest of her body. Preserved and recovered she was able to be recovered and faced extensive replacement over ninety percent of her body that left her in constant pain.
One fo the main things that was used to preserve and keep her stead was the sealant foam, using simple means it doesn't really heal the body as much as for awhile preserve it. Allowing crush injuries or pressure to be alleviated for a time as it re-inflates the chest cavity stopping internal bleeding by applying pressure and keeping organs in place while waiting for first aid.
The foam itself will degrade and is not harmful to the body but it doesn't really function like bacta where once it makes contact the healing processes are started. instead it is very painful and used to keep a person alive in dangerous situations. The foam when it is expanding and hardening can be very panful at first until it sets and the body goes numb from the pain.
Or well the person will likely pass out from the shock but they will no longer be bleeding internally or have a part of their chest caved in.. so there is a plus. Other benefits or it are the sealing effect so that bacteria and infection cannot spread inside of the wound if it is caught quickly enough and sealed up. The biofoam is usually stored with their medical packs
