Description:
Saeva tower without a doubt is designed as one of the largest and perhaps most well defended emplacements to recently come into existence.
The reason for its heavy defenses is because it is the home of Saeva incorporated. Within the tower is located most, if not all, of Saeva's current employees, equipment, secrets, and best of all, their leader Kiran Vess. Within this tower sits all the assets that Saeva Incorporated currently controls. This means that there is a wealth of information, money, and equipment that is both rare in the galaxy and quite unique.
Of course, due to this Saeva Tower is one of the most well defended structures in the galaxy.
First and foremost Saeva Tower is situated within the smack dab middle of the plains of Teth. It is located in a strategically open field known for its high concentration of storms. This means that landing within the field itself is difficult due to electrical storms, and approaching the tower is even more difficult due to the wide view range that the tower holds.
Aside from its natural defenses the Tower also carries dozens of artificial defenses. These include a single anti-capital ship planetary Turbolaser mounted at the base of the structure. This gives the massive weapon a two hundred and fifty degree arch of fire, which is limited, however its blindspot is covered by the fortresses other armanents.
Several dozen Heavy Turbo laser turrets surrounding the base of the tower and climbing partially onto the structure itself. All but four of these towers are set up around the structure itself, with four of the turrets jutting out of the base of the structure at an overlapping field of fire, they do not go above one hundred meters on the tower itself. and of course, fifty laser cannon turrets placed strategically all about the tower, positioned for maximum coverage and overarching fire.
The building was designed against a siege. Its outside was constructed with heavy durasteel plating, and its walls are build in a honeycomb structure in order to make it harder to actually topple or damage in any way. The architect who built it designed the structure after the Central Imperial Palace that once existed on Coruscant, made to survive assaults by starships.
Keeping within this theme Saeva Tower also holds two heavy Shield Generators, powerful enough to cover the entire tower with a shield able to withstand significant damage. This allows Saeva tower to practically survive any siege, giving it a huge amount of draw as a planetary location and a focal point of future resistance to those who would conquer the planet. This, of course, was done on purpose.
Of course the Tower itself functions as both a fortress, and a home. Keeping this in mind the Structure itself contains a umber of amenities that Saeva Incorporated equires to actually properly function. This includes hundreds of dormitories, several hangar bays, cafeterias, armories, training space, a war room equipped with communications suite and all other essentials to plan attacks, and underground space. The undergound is in fact entirely storage space surrounding a single reactor core. This reactor facility, located directly beneath the base of the tower is what powers the towers weapons and shield generator. The reactor is usually found powering entire cities, however this was has been appropriated entirely for Saeva Tower. All and all Saeva Tower is massive, able to sustain all Saeva Incorporated employees and then some.
History:
Saeva Tower was constructed by various contractors funded by Saeva Incorporated as well as the government of Teth.
With Saeva Incorporated now being a multi-million credit firm, decided they required an upgrade within the headquarters department. Saeva, having aided a multitude of galactic governments and corporations, as well as several smaller entities, now had the capital to create nearly any structure they wished, in act the Primeval offered them a planet.
Instead of accepting this gracious offer however, and wishing to remain neutral, Kiran Vess approached the government of Teth. He proposed a simple deal, Teth aids in the construction of a fortress, the likes of which the galaxy would find daunting, and Saeva Incorporated would become Teth's new Planetary Defense forces.
Being well aware of the value of Saeva, hearing of their numerous exploits and string of successes, the government of Teth not only granted Kiran's request, but provided additional aid during construction.
Thus Saeva Tower was born. The structure was built, and quickly raised on Teth by droids, slaves, and paid workers all alongside one another. It was then fortified and built up further, armored and granted several shield generators in order to survive any assault that Teth might face. This means that Saeva Tower in emergency can function as a pseudo-home for the Government of Teth, and Is in fact designed to do so. This was part of the bargain alongside Saeva becoming Teth's new Planetary Defense Force, providing all the arms Teth will ever need.
That being said however, Saeva always works for the highest bidder.
