Zan Kyoru
Character
The quiet little Republic world of Cularin, at the southernmost border of their grand dominion, wasn't really destined for much. Home to a grand forest of exotic woods, it was typically used for functional items and rare furnishing that had a certain regal overtone to it. Expensive, grandiose; this was not a place for the faint of heart.
So why in the nine hells was Zan here?
Simple: he needed a quiet forest. No, it wasn't about connecting with nature. It was the sheer fact that the great wooded areas with the ch'hala tree were sacred ground and the fact remained that he needed somewhere not Kaeshana to train. After all, Kaeshana wasn't entirely friendly territory for male Eldorai. Out here, in the wider Galaxy, he wasn't going to be judged. That, and he actually wanted to buy some really nice interior decorations for his starship. That was also a thing.
A moment of being one with nature, quietly contemplating his blade as he sat down on a fallen ch'hala log, in a place he wasn't supposed to be; if the locals found him, he'd probably be in trouble. One, this was a Republic world and there was probably a garrison around here. Two, this was sacred territory. Three, he was fairly sure that with his Eldorai-make sword it'd look like he was here to cut down trees.
Oh well, whatever.
He closed his eyes and waited.
