DESCRIPTION
SACG-23S is a synthetic silicone-based Polymeric Gel designed to both function as an Absorbent Material and Coolant. Extremely versatile in the different designs the gel can be implemented in, SACG-23S functions primarily to absorb the impact shock in whatever system the gel is used in. Examples of this include boots that absorb potential fall damage, armor plating that can absorb blows and reduce injury from kinetic damage, and weapons with reduced backwards recoil. SACG-23S is also able to absorb heat, making it a useful coolant that reduces overheating. However, the substance is toxic to touch or injestion and the gel by itself is not protective in the slightest. In practice, this means that the gel is only effective when implemented in an actual design or system.
