DESCRIPTION
Created when she was old enough to wield a saber, this was the first weapon crafted by Sabine. The main components and meditation crystal shards were given as a gift from her master, to mark the beginning of her saber training. In keeping with tradition, Sabine was able to pick out her own crystal – a Pontite crystal found in the caves of Ilum, that gives her saber a deep blue hue. It is a straightforward design, given a bit of originality by adding a power adjustment knob and a pressure grip. Most notably, the most unique addition is that of the meditation crystal shards that aid Sabine in having a deeper connection to the force, allowing her to retain energy during training or battle.
Though the lightsaber is a formidable weapon, able to cut through most materials, it can still be blocked by resistant materials or shorted out by cortosis. Without the addition of additional technology, this saber will not function under water.
