Sabetha is the chosen name of a teenage criminal, currently resident on Coruscant.
A native resident of the lower levels, Sabetha reveals little about her background. As far as anyone else can remember, she was always there with them. Mixed in with the gangs and crews that take in homeless, restless orphans and left-behinds. A hardscrabble existence followed, stealing enough to survive from other gangs or dumb tools that ventured down that far.
Sabetha quickly attained a reputation for being an excellent asset, due to her excellent technical skills and resolute attitude towards jobs. If her crew needed to get through a locked door or had to deal with technical systems, Sabetha was their girl. It helped that she was a half decent shot too. Still not enough to get her out of the lower levels, but it was enough to survive, for a while.
Sabetha's friends and associates tried their best to keep her away from anyone important, due to her fearless and foolhardy need to question and answer back. Possessed of an absolute and innate distrust of authority, Sabetha would argue with a credit chit if she thought it looked at her the wrong way. The numerous fights and punishments this has caused over the years have done little to soothe her sharp tongue and piercing glare.
As the chaos of war came ever closer to Coruscant, tremors ran through the criminal underworld in the lower levels. Rapid changes, combined with the inevitable slow march towards adulthood, have left Sabetha wondering what will happen next. Torn between an urge to be someone and loyalty to her friends, Sabetha lingers in the space between several potential futures, just waiting for something.
Tech Wiz: Almost supernatural understanding of technology, particularly the cheap stuff they use on the lower levels. Loves new tech deeply. Wants a droid best friend.
Underworld Survivor: Survived as a kid in a seedy underworld. Knows the ins-and-outs of how criminality works. Doesn't talk to cops.
Loyal: Friends until the end. The absolute core of Sabetha's morality, as ragged and paper-thin as it is.
Force Sensitive: Has a bad feeling about a lot of things.
Ambitious: Wants a better life so bad she can almost taste it. Feels like there's a better world out there for her and she'll fight to get it. Worried what it'll do to her friends.
Hothead: Anger issues abound. Rarely contains her own thoughts. Quick to anger and takes insults to heart. Wants, nay demands, the last word.
Hates Authority: She's survived this long without someone telling her what to do. What do they know, anyway? Who put them in charge?
Underdeveloped Upbringing: Street smarts don't really make up for a lack of book smarts. She still moves her lips when reading. She couldn't always get food when she was younger, so she's still catching up.
