Intent: To create an artificial pilot for Darth Ferus, on any ship he may end up with.
Development Thread: Sica
Manufacturer: Kalor Tech
Model: Synthetic Intelligence Computer Application
Affiliation: Darth Ferus; One Sith
Modularity: She can learn and grow accordingly, but no real changes are possible.
Production: Unique
Material: Coding
Description: Created by the smartest minds of the One Sith with supplies provided by Kalor Tech, Sica was given one goal. To pilot any and all ships she was asked to by Darth Ferus. From air locks to hyperspace, her code was built to know anything and everything about flying a ship in any situation, as well as fighting within one. Be it a simple interceptor to a star destroyer, it's in her code to pilot it effectively.

She has a quick and adaptive mind, making it far easier for her to predict enemy tactics and find counters. Such predictions however need a prior reference, meaning that new tactics will take her a short while to figure out. But if she had seen it before, either first hand or from the One Sith database, Sica can form a plan of attack within moments.

Despite being a super computer built into ships, it does have a mind of it's own. A mind that is prone with outbursts. Aggravation, joy, sadness, all are possible in her coding, and more often than not she lets out quips on actions around her. Serious or not, she speaks her mind like a woman with a bubbly personality and the inability to shut off the valve of thought, though Sica has far more control. With the large amount of thought processing she does every day, it would be foolish to think she had absolutely no filter.

Her program can be downloaded to any holopad via connection to a holoterminal, but only when the ship is on it's last legs. As an expensive and one of a kind piece of tech, her survival means everything.

She is loyal only to Darth Ferus, as the Sith Lord has felt too many stings of betrayal within the past couple months of his life to allow another control of such an important part of his ships. Sica is constantly evolving, making it that much harder, if not impossible, for her to be hacked or corrupted, all for the sake of keeping the ships up and running. She can only control one ship at a time however, and only the one she is plugged into.

On top of normal piloting, she can operate stealth generators, as well as calculate projected paths to keep a ship in stealth as long as possible. Stealth is important to the Red Assassin, so it's only fitting his creation feels the same way.

Sica is carried within a small data tablet, about the size of a chip, when not plugged in. This allows for easy transporting, and it can be linked into suits capable of hosting AIs. She cannot be downloaded wirelessly, and thus unless someone takes her to an enemy ship and plugs her in directly, she cannot act as a virus. If she is plugged in, she can however. As she's meant to control a ship of any size, she can control the weapon systems as well, though the larger the ship gets and the more she has to pay attention to, the smaller her effectiveness gets. Once she reaches a corvette class ship (100-200m) she needs assistance from the normal amount of staff positioned on the ship to keep it running.

She becomes more of an adviser than a controller of the whole ship, keeping tabs on it's well being and offering suggestions on what to do next biased on her calculations. In smaller ships, such as star fighters, she can take over the ship completely and control it if necessary. But as she cannot be downloaded wirelessly, this poses a great risk to her destruction and will not normally happen.

I have a few questions.
  1. What is it carried in, a Data Spike (when not plugged in)?
  2. Can it be wirelessly downloaded?
  3. Can she be sent like a virus to another ship? (this would be dictated by whether she could be wireless downloaded or not)
  4. Can it use weapon systems on a ship?
  5. How many aspects of a ship can it run (is it omniscient when plugged into a ship)? Because I don't see a single AI being able to effectively control every aspect of a destroyer.
  6. How does her effectiveness at controlling a ship change as the size and complexity increases?
