Description: Designed to correlate directly with a ships mainframe, the DRD’s act without any manual intervention. If there is a malfunction or damage of any kind, the mainframe notify’s the DRD’s and they deploy and set to work repairing the damage. Their small size means they can get into places an astro droid or person can’t making repairs a lot faster.
Damage such as hull breaches are not within their capabilities to fix but they will send diagnostics back to the main frame advising the extent of hull damage and estimated time to repair. The DRD’s are fitted with small blaster canons in order to deal with external anomalies that may be deemed as a threat, for example mynocks or sabotage droids such as the V-Class serpent.
