DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
  • HUD/Sensor Link: Like all others in the RMIA pistol's line, this sonic pistol links up to your HUD and or sensor units
  • Over/under barrel attachments: For any fancy do-dads you wanna attach to this badboy.
  • Faraday cage: To protect those sweet electronic bits!
  • Sonic weaponry: This pistol can be adjusted to different frequencies and to do maximum damage
  • Modular fire: This weapon fires in two different ways; wave and beam. The wave mode fires a cone of sound at the enemy with some pretty tremendous force, much like the sonic weaponry used on the Battle of Geonosis. The beam mode fires a set beam of energy at the enemy, concentrating all that power into one precise beam.

Strengths:
  • Sonic weapon: Sonic weapons cannot be blocked by light sabers. This particular pistol can have its frequency adjusted (by the interface with the HUD or by just doing some manual adjustments on the weapon itself) to the user's specifications.
  • Modular fire: Thanks to the two modes of fire, this pistol is able to be a lot more effective than not. A single shot in wave mode can do a lot of damage to structures or work as great crowd control against multiple people. Then a quick switch and this pistol can deal out all that power in the beam mode to really smack one target hard.
  • A great way to be non-lethal: With a few adjustments this pistol can go from "I cause internal bleeding" to "Make your ears bleed" and be pretty non-lethal. Using sound, this pistol can effectively subdue your enemy without real damage done.
Weaknesses :
  • Sonic weapon: Where there is no atmosphere, this pistol is only good for smacking people in the head. If your foe is deaf or partially deaf, its sound itself won't affect them (the force of the wave hitting them would). Also, sound grows weaker over range, so when this thing says it is at personal--it really is only effective that far out.
  • Kick: The wave setting does a great deal more kick, and the beam setting does a fair amount too, so either way the user is going to experience a lot of kick.
  • Fiddling, fiddling fiddling: This pistol has a lot of adjustments for wave/beam, frequency, and intensity. That's a lot of things to adjust for. Having too many variables in the middle of a firefight can be pretty dangerous. Who wants to stand around and fiddle between Wave and beam as people are shooting at you? If the user decides to do this... well, RMIA is not liable for the holes burned through their skull.
DESCRIPTION
Sound. Most beings have some way of interacting with it, and for ages its been a warrior's friend or enemy. But with the use of Mangler Sonic pistol, you can make sound your next crushing weapon against your foe. Its super effective against force users, and one of the greatest ways to show you mean business with crowd control--for its size. A few shots can wreck havoc on structures, so forget the need to do breaching, just shoot the door with the wave setting a few time and there ya go!

With a fantastic array of flexibility and adaptability, the Mangler is ready to meet your needs. Here is how it works. The two firing setting are Wave and Beam. Wave setting sends a cone of sound out from the barrel, kinda like a shot gun. The beam fires a beam of sound more like a rifle. At maximum distance, the wave has a radius of 1 meter.

Whether Beam or cone, the Mangler can shoot non lethal or lethal, depending on your desire. Lethal rounds have enough force behind them to cause internal bleeding, knock people off their feet, break bones, rupture blood vessles, tear muscle, and all kinds of lovely things without ever breaking the skin. It skirts around most armors since it uses kinetic energy rather than blaster or saber or anything like that. If non-lethal than the sound itself is relied on to subdue the enemy. It is pretty loud, strong enough to stun most beings and leave them with ringing ears for several minutes or hours. The pitch can be adjusted as well to suite your needs.

All in all, its just a sonic pistol.
