Character
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Rynna is wiry and underfed, with sharp cheekbones and a shock of unevenly cut brown hair that's usually hidden under a hood. Her eyes are a striking green, always flicking about to take in exits, threats, and opportunities. Her clothing is scavenged and mismatched: a threadbare tunic, patched trousers tucked into boots two sizes too big, and a rough belt with a few hidden pouches. Dirt smudges and scars crisscross her skin, but she wears them like armour. Despite her ragged look, she moves with surprising quickness and agility, like a feral alley-cat.
INVENTORY
Vibroknife — a battered blade her mother told her once belonged to her father. Barely functional. Rynna treats it as both a weapon and an heirloom.
Necklace — a small metal charm shaped like a mythosaur skull, worn smooth with age. Her mother gave it to her, saying it came from her father's people. Rynna keeps it hidden and refuses to part with it.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Rynna is tough, distrustful, and quick with her tongue — survival has taught her to rely on no one but herself. She hides her softer side beneath a mask of sarcasm and bravado, but she has a strong sense of loyalty to anyone who manages to earn her trust. She's terrified of confined spaces and losing the only items that tie her to her family.
STRENGTHS
Resourceful Survivor – Skilled at scavenging, lockpicking, and making use of whatever's on hand. Can blend into a crowd or vanish into an alley in moments.
Agile and Quick – Street-raised reflexes make her fast on her feet, hard to catch, and a nimble fighter despite her lack of training.
WEAKNESSES
Distrustful – Finds it difficult to form alliances or accept help, which often backfires.
Physically Frail – Malnourishment and lack of formal training leave her weaker than most adults. She relies on speed over strength.
HISTORY
Rynna was born on Taris, in the undercity, where survival meant learning fast or dying young. She never knew her father, only the stories her mother told her, that he was a warrior who died protecting them from Sith invaders. Her only connection to him is the vibroknife and the mythosaur trinket. Her mother passed before she was ten, courtesy of poverty in the undercity, where doctors only treat those able to pay.
Left alone, Rynna scraped by doing whatever she could: scavenging, running errands for gangs, and pickpocketing the unwary. She's been in and out of trouble with local enforcers and has seen too many friends vanish into slaving rings. The streets taught her to be fast, clever, and untrusting — but also left her hungry, scarred, and constantly on edge.
Rynna doesn't know if her father ever truly existed or if her mother spun stories to comfort her. Still, she clings to the knife and the trinket as proof that she comes from something more than just the gutters of Taris.
