Distinctions: The Rylers scorpion among all three tiers, is a six legged creature with claws and a tail which administers a toxic bite. There are a few variations among the different class of animal, but they have these distinctive differences in size. he Worker is the smallest of the bunch, followed by the Queen with the largest being the Soldiers. Soldiers have the largest claws and tails, which are perfect for fending off attackers. The workers have a slightly different shaped claws which assist in digging, while the Queen's are petite. Another major difference is pigmentation. The Queen of any colony is born a darker shade of yellow, while Workers are brown and the Soldiers are born black.

Breathes: Type One.
Strengths:
Strength Through Unity: The rylers scorpions are a species which swarm, which is an effective tactic at warding off troublesome Taipans or Jindaburras.
Virgin Birth: Queens who are cast out of their colonies, can asexually reproduce by themselves. Due to this, it allows them to spread like wildfire across deserts and jungles alike.
Castle Rock: The rylers scorpion makes its home underground, or in rock crevices. Because of that, their colonies are often left unmolested by creatures.
Weaknesses:
Small Fry: In terms of size, the rylers scorpion is the smallest, and because of that, it can be trampled by anyone.
All Bark, No Bite: The rylers scorpion is poisonous, yes. But its toxicity is minimal. It’s a mild irritant which causes some swelling, but in large doses paralysis.
Lowest on the Food Chain: The Rylers scorpion is constantly hunted by most other creatures on the planet, and makes up the basis for most of their diets.

Races: There are three distinct breeds of rylers scorpion. The Queen, which is the rarest. They hide away inside the nest, and are defended at all costs by the soldier, and worker class. The Queen is a twenty centimetre long beast, which has a yellow pigmentation.

Soldiers grow to be the largest, and have black pigmentation. Their mandibles and tail are the most pronounced, and have a larger strength than others.

Workers are the smallest, with brown pigmentation. Their mandibles are the smallest of all.

Diet: Plant roots, nectar and the carcasses of larger animals.
Communication: Pheromones.
Culture: The Rylers scorpions live in a hierarchical society like ants. The Queen of a colony mates with male solders to produce more of the soldier class. The soldier are a tier who fight and secure food against rival colonies, as well as attacking enemies which threaten a Queen. Workers at the bottom mate with older soldiers to create more workers. Essentially, a queen and soldiers makes soldiers and queens. Workers mate with soldiers and make workers. Workers carry food to the colony, ensure the queens eggs are safe from nest collapse. Their most important job is to physically expand the colonies confines. No one knows how large these colonies become, though the largest found had 2000 individual scorpions. The ones found on the surface, average 250.

Another Queen being born happens when the Queen scorpion progresses to about four years of age. When this happens, two things happen, the new Queen is either killed, cast out, or manages to overthrow her mother.
Technology level: None.
General behavior: Rylers scorpions, despite appearances are quite passive creatures. They won't attack, unless they feel that they're being threatened.

History: The Rylers Scorpion have always been an important influence on Terra Damnatias, acting to expand plant life into the desert and to get rid of carcasses. The original settlers were initially fearful of the scorpions, but when it was realise that they weren't all that bad, humans began to use them as a delicacy. Their venom glands are added in cocktails, and scorpion meat is used in some dishes.
Notable Player-Characters: None.
Intent: Add wildlife to Terra Damnatias.

Mostly simple, but a few questions/clarifications.

So why do the worker scorpions guard the eggs over soldier scorpions? Does the unfertilized scorpion eggs produce Soldiers or Workers? Who is the "Old Guard" that workers mate with to produce more workers? Can I get the "Technology level" filled in with something akin to "None" or "N/A"? Lastly, can I get a little more on history? Have the scorpions been a significant force on the populace of Terra Damnatias or has they just been kinda there? Etc.
