Description: Intended for use against ground infantry and aircraft, the unit was armed with laser cannons and flak pods. Though lightly armored it is equipped with a deflector shield. Though the shields do not last long under sustained fire, they do protect the tank from damage sustained from lightly armed vehicles. Unit is also modular enough to service as a utility vehicle, and can be equipped to service in a varity of configurations.
As a command vehicle this is quite easily due to the build in communication and sensor equipment. The only thing needed is to remove part of the ammo cashe, taking it down to 100 rounds per gun, and adding additional hardware to track and report on battle field conditions.
Conversions to a battlefield ambulance or hovertruck are accomplished by stripping it down to a bare bones configuration so it can carry up to a metric ton of cargo. In the ambulance configuration medical equipment is added to stabilize the patent and get them to a field or more fixed hospital.
This unit is now used heavily by all units throughout the army in a multiple of roles.
