Description: The Exhorter is a tug. It is a a very good tug, but it a tug. On top of the usual tractor beams, it also has gravity manipulation tech to aid in either in atmo actions, or to help attract items to itself in space, as well as physical pincers. It is quite large which allows it to maneuver ships and items larger than the average tug can manage alone. It also allowed for smaller repair vehicles to be stored in its cargo hold. Not starfighters, but welding units and the like.

The only other difference from an average tug is that in usual Red Raven fashion it's been fitted with a hyperdrive, a cheap, slow hyperdrive, but considering most tugs don't have one at all.. This allows it to attempt to make an escape should it come under fire.

In theory it could be used in combat to muck about using gravity and tractor beams, but is would also be destroyed almost as soon as anyone turned a weapon on it. It's energy shield can take a handful of hits and then they'd be gone. This is a terrible idea, don't do it.

A single tug can generally move a ship about five times bigger than itself with relative ease and speed (or at least as speedily as these things get) These means it can move a standard 500m ship with ease. Two tugs can easily maneuver a 1000m ship and so on. A non standard shape may take more or less effort, use common sense to judge this on a case by case basis.

Development Thread: If required

SUGGESTIONS
If this isn't meant to be used for combat, I'd like you to add in a line about how it is ineffective against capitol ships so that it can't be used to drag ships around in fleeting. Lastly, can you give me an explanation for why it is as maneuverable as a Bomber/Gunship?

Because it is veeeeeeeeeery slow. If it moved quickly it wouldn't be maneuverable, but at the speed it's at it has lots of time to turn and aim etc.

Also edited in the requested line. Folks can do it, it would just be a stupid idea ;p

Alright. Have fun with your Tugboats...
