Description:
The RR-5 Magnum is a tried and true slug thrower, and the RR-5b promises to maintain a similar quality.
The major features of the RR-5 Magnum remain present, although altered due to the new weapon configuration. The sound suppression systems remain unchanged, leaving the RR-5b extraordinarily quiet considering the size of the munitions it fires; nearly silent. The former sight has been removed leaving the weapons iron sights in place. In place of the former optics a miniaturized camera system has been introduced. This new optical system is able to interface with most modern HUD systems, providing the operator with a target picture at all times. The optical system also features a two times magnification setting, some what weaker than the previous optics.
Finally, the major alteration to the RR-5 system. The massive under barrel bayonet. Due to the wide, sweeping shape of the blade, the bayonet is poorly suited to stabbing motions. This laser edged piece of titanium alloy is perfect for chopping and slashing. Additionally this incredibly durable metal is excellent for turning aside other bladed weapons, including vibroweapons, while retaining it's fierce edge.
