RP Location Ideas?

I want to start an RP but I don't want to do a Cantina/ nightclub because those are overused (in my opinion) and no one seems interested in my RP located in a den of criminals ( Located: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/34150-oh-how-i-love-the-desert-open-to-anyone-please-pm-me-before-you-post/ )

In your opinion what are some great locations for an RP and some underlying plots that work for you?

Myself, I am always a fan of old ruined citys, cause of the unlimited destruction you can cause, and any where rainy. I like the dramatic effect.

Okay, yea I thought of doing one on Kamino (my characters home planet) but with his history I need to develop him some more before he goes back there.

There is nothing wrong with using a den of criminals. It just means you will get a smaller base of characters to work with. Admittedly I skimmed your post but it still looked solid.

That is very true a den of criminals is a smaller base to work with, I suppose I may need to think of more general locations for a broader audience. Thank you though for skimming through my opener!

Derelict ships ,Tombs, city slums are always nice choices small towns can work. Depending on the story abandonded buildings, mining facilities etc are good picks so is a reaserch lab for a more horror themed story.

I like to take a look at the wiki pages for the planet you mean to set in on, the points of interest there can trigger an idea too. At least that works for me.
