Rovic Saphron
Character
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Rovic is an otherwise unremarkable human with little in the way of defining features. Being from a noble family, Rovic tends to prefer wearing clothing that displays his social status, whether it be robes made of expensive material or rather ornate armor for more practical purposes.
He has brown hair that he keeps at a moderate length and his eyes are a dark brown most of the time. Having still been largely untrained in his ability to harness the dark side, his eyes only change to a yellow/red color in moments of extreme rage.
Rovic tends to work out often to clear his mind, leading him to be relatively in shape. His past has instilled in him a feeling that he needs to be in shape to be able to both overcome potential foes but also to make others feel that opposing him is a lost cause to begin with.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Rovic's outlook on life was heavily shaped in his early teenage years. He had grown up in a noble, aristocratic family and had been raised to believe there was a natural difference between those born to lead and those born to follow. After the death of his family at the hands of people who he had believed to be subordinate to him on the social ladder, Rovic not only doubled down on his beliefs, they were kicked into overdrive. He now believed not just that there were natural born leaders and natural born followers, he believed that his force abilities and his aristocratic lineage were proof that he is a demigod.
He is a man hellbent not just on revenge but on educating the galaxy that order can only be achieved when the strong rule and the weak obey. He achieved his initial goal of exacting revenge on those responsible for killing his family but realized that wasn't good enough for him. He wanted more and decided to start plotting ways to reshape the galaxy in his image.
STRENGTHS
+ Rovic is fiercely loyal to those he chooses to let be close to him
+ His access to his family's wealth has allowed him access to resources that he might not have otherwise achieved if left to fend entirely for himself.
WEAKNESSES
- The loss of his family at a young age and his embrace of the pain and suffering that came with that loss has left him with an inability to keep his emotions in check.
- His binary view of the universe (strong/weak, leader/follower) has a tendency to limit his ability to critically analyze people and situations around him. He has been known to underestimate enemies from time to time.
HISTORY
Born to a prominent aristocratic family on Eliad, Rovic lived a life of luxury for over a decade. He was, however, insulated, from the growing dissatisfaction growing among the people within the town that his family ruled over. His family knew from a young age that Rovic, like his father, was force sensitive but the family made the decision to hide that fact from the Sith to the best of their ability, out of fear that their son would be taken from them and never seen again. Eventually, as things reached a boiling point, the family's private security turned against them, slaughtering Rovic's parents and younger sister. Rovic himself, just 14 at the time, barely managed to escape with his life.
He spent the next several years living on the streets, taking small jobs where he could take them, scrounging for food and never staying in the same place for more than a few weeks to a month. In that time, he decided to expand his knowledge of the force. While he never came in direct contact with the Sith, he did set out to learn Sith teachings. In his solitude, he worked to hone his skills and though he was still little more than a novice by any standard, he took what he learned and returned to his hometown at the age of 25, almost 10 years after he was forced to flee. Upon his return he went on a rampage, taking out anyone who tried to stop him, and paying specific attention to the guards responsible and their families.
Once the dust had settled, Rovic announced to the town that he was back to claim his family's position. As the sole surviving heir of the family, he declared himself patriarch of the Saphron family. He spent the next decade solidifying his hold over the town. In the process, his actions had caused the very thing his parents had previously worked so hard to avoid; he attracted the attention of the Sith. News of a force wielder laying waste to a town on Eliad spread quickly and, unbeknownst to Rovic, an observer had been dispatched to the region to watch how events there unfold.
As time dragged on, Rovic was increasingly unsatisfied. He had achieved his goal of exacting revenge, restoring his family's power, and ruled over the town he grew up in. But it wasn't enough. He wanted more. In a public announcement, Rovic told his people that he was not merely a ruler, he was a deity. A new religion in the town was formed around him. Almost overnight he had gone from being their leader to being their god and those that resisted were offered as a sacrifice by those that chose to embrace the new religion. From there, Rovic began to look beyond his little town. He looked to expand his reach, in the hopes of bringing order to a chaotic galaxy.
