Having made this a night to remember for all that would come. After which time she knew it hadn't been that long since they had took over Annaj again freeing the people. It had came to be that this lawless planet had once again would became the jewel it had once been so long again. What better way then to have the new President here as the honor guest [member="Kath"] .

Having worked around the clock for this to be ready for such a day as this. Only putting a smile upon her lips that spreads wider. As the band had been called all the way from the core of the galaxy one of the hottest bands on the rise.

Before entering into the ball room itself she waited until the guest had started to fill into the invites had went out all over the galaxy. The stage had been set now it was time for her the host of the evening would make her appearance. Finding her long slender fingers resting on the railing as she waited for the prefect timing.

Choosing a dress that one would expect her to be in tonight she always thing of herself in red or black but tonight she had pick a white long dress that would show off her figure also see her as that classic business lady with her fiery red hair. After all who should be alone this night. As she waited making a speech .​

"Welcome Lady and Gentlemen I welcome you on behalf of the Free Colonies tonight. You came here with a date or single enjoy the dance and also the finest liquor from Vel's Company of fine Liquor. Enjoy yourselves and the band "Beat Your Heart Baby"​

Finding herself now coming down the stairs gracefully down like an angel taking from one of the many trays that of whiskey. Nodding for the band to start playing.​

Kay had gotten the invitation and even though she wasn't a Senator anymore, she decided to show up and see what allies she could make. With the loss of her position, she had sold many of her clothes to help pay for food, travel and the occasional hotel stay. But tonight she planned on trying to forget her troubles.

The dress she wore was simple ( http://orig01.deviantart.net/246d/f/2015/132/6/c/4_by_clairemariea-d8t5zay.png) yet good enough for such a ball. It wasn't as though she needed to impress anyone for there was nothing that she had to offer.

For the moment, Kay didn't accept anything to eat or drink. She just stood to the side and listened to the music.

Kei couldn't really care about looking fancy for a ball, the only reason he was here is because he was invited. He worked for the Free Colonies but didn't. He did the odd job when it suited him, he much preferred to act out alone, it was the easiest way to exist. He took a whiskey from a passing waiter with a tray, taking a sip lightly. He was in his tunic and jeans, jacket slung across his shoulders. Who needed a tux? He smirked.

He nodded to a passing waiter, sipping his drink again. Then he caught sight of [member="Lady Kay"] in the corner, chuckling lightly he walked over. He put his foot on the wall, leaning next to her lightly. He coughed into his hands, nodding to the senator lightly.

"Evening"

She watched [member="Kei Garnik"] as he approached, almost boldly. Or at least as boldly as one with his personality would. Kay raised a brow as he put his foot on the wall. For the moment she didn't quite know how to react. Her Force signature was shrunk down again, for as far as she could tell, that information hadn't been leaked to the media yet. Hopefully it never would.

"Evening. I didn't think that I'd see a familiar face.....How are you?"

He nodded to Lady Kay, taking yet another swig of his drink. He coughed lightly, eyes flashing around the party. Lady Kay remembered him, good enough. He flashed a cocky smile, taking another sip of his drink. Lady Kay asked how he was, and the honest answer was alright. He'd been through a-lot over the last few weeks, but he was doing alright. He just had to figure out how to form basic basic sentences out of those feelings.

"Not bad, been a long few weeks. Stole a data chip from a Hutt and decided to fight for freedom I guess. This, this whole Free Colonies thing is part time though. I'm only here because family, otherwise i'd be off finishing what I started before our meeting on Dromund-Kaas"

"Oh? You have family here? I haven't seen anyone that I recognize yet, other than you. My adopted brother bade me to come, so I did. I guess that he's just trying to keep me busy."

More than likely that was the case. She was sure that James felt bad for her losing her seat in the Senate and getting expelled from the government entirely. It left her with plenty of time to dwell on it, probably made her bad company too. So here she was, being sent off to go meet these people, and those people, gain new contacts and maybe eventually, a good paying job. Kay was not very happy with being broke, but she lost everything all in the name of peace. It was very tough to do the right thing at times.
