"The Path is not a place or a people; it's a promise. If you stand with us, you are never alone."
― Mother Askani

The Hidden Path is a clandestine resistance network founded and inspired by the teachings of Mother Askani (formerly Jedi Master Romi Jade) to safeguard marginalized communities, and those persecuted by oppressive regimes. It operates on a decentralized network of safehouses, hidden routes, and trusted operatives spanning the Outer Rim and Wild Space. Comprising refugees, scholars, Force-sensitive adepts, and surviving veterans of the elite 91st Sentinel, a former unit of the Galactic Alliance, the Hidden Path blends ancient Jedi ideals with tactical precision to protect and empower the vulnerable.
More than a haven, the Hidden Path symbolizes quiet defiance, offering hope to the oppressed and resistance to tyranny. Its operatives carry out covert missions, disrupt oppressive systems, and provide sanctuary to those in need, all while remaining elusive to their enemies. Their sayings, whispered across the galaxy, serves as both calls to action and a promises of refuge: "for tomorrow's victory." and "thanks for today, please for tomorrow".
Guided by the belief that galactic cycles of oppression are inevitable but surmountable, The Hidden Path positions itself as the unseen architect of change. It employs long-term planning to protect knowledge, preserve influence, and guide galactic events toward a better future.

MEMBERS
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Hidden Path emerged from the shadows of war and loss. Its founder, Mother Askani, created the organization after her disillusionment with the galaxy's endless cycles of oppression. Drawing upon her experiences as a Jedi, a warrior, and a survivor, she sought to protect those who could not protect themselves.
Witnessing the destruction and the plight of civilians following the Battle of Coruscant, Mother Askani, created the Hidden Path to provide support and resistance against corrupt forces. With a core of force-sensitive operatives trained in mentalism, the inclusion of the surviving members of the 91st Sentinel, and a network of supportive civilians, the Hidden Path has since grown into a decentralized but formidable force. Using stealth, secrecy, and community solidarity, the Hidden Path continues to protect and empower the oppressed, defying the forces of tyranny wherever they arise.
Today, Hidden Path continues its quiet struggle, weaving its influence into the fabric of galactic events, waiting for the right moment to emerge and fulfill its mission of renewal and survival. They do not seek glory or recognition—only survival and the quiet promise of a better tomorrow.

The Ivory Charter

General Information
Founded By
  • 902 ABY
Organization
  • Foundation
Duties
  • Facilitate key defections, provide intelligence, and secure legal legitimacy for the Foundation's operations.

"The Ivory Charter does not fight on battlefields; we fight in courts, in councils, in the quiet spaces where empires are made and unmade. A signature, a ruling, a whispered word in the right ear—these are our blasters and starships. And with them, we will carve a path to liberation."
― Unknown

The Ivory Charter is a clandestine resistance cell disguised as an elite social and civic organization operating on Empress Teta. Formed by legal minds, bureaucrats, and cultural leaders disillusioned by Imperial rule, the Charter works from within the judicial and bureaucratic systems to weaken the Dark Empire's hold on the Deep Core. Their influence spans circuit courts, trade guilds, and cultural institutions, allowing them to protect dissidents, manipulate legal rulings, and sway public opinion in favor of the Foundation.
Although they present themselves as historians, scholars, and legal theorists, the Charter's true purpose is to facilitate key defections, provide intelligence, and secure legal legitimacy for the Foundation's operations. They carefully navigate the political landscape, using loopholes, trade agreements, and legal precedents to block Imperial policies and shield rebel sympathizers.
Operating in the shadows, the Ivory Charter fights not with blasters or fleets, but with the sharp edge of law, diplomacy, and public influence—waging war in the courtrooms and council halls of the Deep Core.

    • Training Focus:
      • Embracing the unity between self and the cosmic Force.
      • Achieving a state of clarity and oneness with the Askani collective.

Applications in Askani Training
  1. Strengthening the Psycellium
The Lake of Mind serves as a framework for training the Psycellium, the metaphysical muscle of psychic power. By exploring the layers of the lake, Askani initiates grow their Psycellium in strength, flexibility, and connection to others.
  2. Telepathic Mastery
Each layer corresponds to a key telepathic skill:
    • Surface awareness enhances empathy and unvoicing.
    • Daily life insights improve mental shielding.
    • Persona and story mastery unlock abilities like memory manipulation.
  3. Healing Trauma
Trauma is seen as both an obstacle and a trigger for telepathic growth. The Lake of Mind philosophy encourages initiates to heal wounds stored in the "Secrets" layer, empowering them to transcend limitations and build resilience.
  4. Unity and the Collective
The deeper one delves into the lake, the stronger their connection to the Askani collective becomes. Mastery of the "True Self" enables seamless telepathic bonding within the clan and with the Force.

Core Principles of the Lake of Mind
  • Depth Brings Clarity: True mastery of the mind and the Force comes from embracing all layers of the self, not just the surface.
  • Healing Unlocks Power: Confronting and resolving internal conflicts strengthens the Psycellium and deepens telepathic capabilities.
  • Unity in Diversity: While each Askani's lake is unique, all contribute to the collective Psycellium, embodying the clan's spirit of interconnectedness.
  • The Force Within: The deeper one journeys into the lake, the closer they come to the universal Force that binds all life.
By embracing the Lake of Mind as both a philosophy and a training method, the Askani ensure that their tradition remains deeply rooted in self-awareness, resilience, and the pursuit of unity.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The philosophies were compiled by the disciples of Mother Askani, who aimed to preserve and formalize her teachings. Drawing from her lived experiences and the clan's oral traditions, the book was created as both a training manual and a cultural artifact to solidify the Askani's legacy. Inspired by the clan's shared trauma and resilience, the Codex represents a unifying effort to distill generations of learning into a structured methodology. The publication coincided with a pivotal era for the Askani, as they sought to establish their place among other Force traditions and connect with scattered Force-sensitive individuals across the galaxy.

  • Format: Book
  • Distribution: Rare
  • Length: Medium
  • Description: A tome dedicated to covering the Mirror of Perception philosophy, and it teaches that perception is inherently subjective—shaped by personal biases, expectations, and emotions. This phenomenon resonates deeply with the Askani, who believe that understanding and mastering perception is essential for telepathic growth, self-awareness, and alignment with the Force. The Mirror of Perception philosophy trains Askani initiates to identify the limitations of their senses, question their interpretations of reality, and use their psychic abilities to see and hear beyond the surface of experience. By doing so, they aim to uncover truth, strengthen their Psycellium, and refine their telepathic discipline.

Core Tenets of the Mirror of Perception

  1. We Perceive What We Believe
    • Perception is influenced by what we expect or want to see. The Askani acknowledge that these mental filters can distort reality and affect telepathic abilities.
    • Training Objective: To recognize the biases that shape perception and learn to perceive the Force and others as they truly are, not as the mind wishes them to be.
  2. The Illusion of the Surface
    • The Askani teach that the material world and its sensory inputs are a "surface reality." True understanding lies deeper, in the unseen flows of thought, emotion, and the Force.
    • Training Objective: To look past illusions and misdirection, refining their telepathic abilities to discern hidden intentions, emotions, or truths.
  3. Shared Realities, Divergent Perspectives
    • Individuals can experience the same event differently. The Askani embrace this diversity of perception and use it as a tool to better empathize with others and form stronger connections.
    • Training Objective: To use telepathy not just to read others' thoughts, but to step into their subjective reality and foster understanding.
  4. Mastery Through Objectivity
    • The Askani believe that telepathic mastery comes from balancing personal intuition with objective awareness. While emotions and expectations can guide insights, they must not cloud judgment.
    • Training Objective: To train initiates to suspend judgment and see events and minds as they are, without bias or interference.

The Four Levels of Perception Training
The Mirror of Perception is broken into four levels, each designed to help initiates refine their awareness and hone their telepathic abilities.
  1. Level 1: Shattering the Surface
    • Focus: Recognizing and dismantling the mental filters that shape perception.
    • Exercise: Guided meditation where initiates confront their assumptions and biases about themselves and others.
    • Outcome: An awareness of how much of reality is shaped by their expectations.
  2. Level 2: Listening Beyond the Noise
    • Focus: Tuning into deeper layers of communication, such as emotional undertones or hidden thoughts.
    • Exercise: Telepathic exercises in pairs, where initiates focus on perceiving unspoken emotions or subtle cues.
    • Outcome: The ability to "hear" beyond spoken words and surface-level thoughts.
  3. Level 3: Walking the Mirror Path
    • Focus: Entering another's perspective to understand their reality.
    • Exercise: Advanced telepathic connection exercises where initiates immerse themselves in another's memories or feelings while maintaining their own sense of self.
    • Outcome: A stronger Psycellium and enhanced empathy.
  4. Level 4: The Clear Mirror
    • Focus: Achieving clarity of perception, free from bias, and becoming a vessel for the Force's truths.
    • Exercise: Solo meditations in challenging environments or interactions with complex minds to test clarity and control.
    • Outcome: A mastery of telepathic objectivity, akin to the status of an Omega-tier Askani.

Practical Applications of the Philosophy
  1. Combat and Conflict
    • Understanding opponents' perspectives and strategies by seeing past their surface actions and uncovering hidden intentions.
    • Example: Detecting deception or predicting movements in a negotiation or battle.
  2. Healing and Mediation
    • Entering the subjective reality of another person to uncover and resolve emotional wounds or misunderstandings.
    • Example: Helping a fellow Askani confront a repressed memory to strengthen their Psycellium.
  3. Collective Synergy
    • Using shared perception exercises to deepen the connection between members of the Askani, fostering a unified Psycellium.
    • Example: Synchronizing telepathic efforts during a communal meditation or task.

Reflections and Insights
The Mirror of Perception reinforces the idea that understanding oneself and others requires navigating the interplay between expectation and reality. By mastering this philosophy, the Askani elevate their ability to perceive the Force, connect with others, and wield their telepathic powers with precision and purpose.

This philosophy not only hones individual skills but strengthens the Askani tradition's collective power, ensuring that its members remain attuned to the truth beneath the illusions of the world.

The philosophies were compiled by the disciples of Mother Askani, who aimed to preserve and formalize her teachings.
