Personality:

Romano, called Lear by non-family, is a true artist, but not necessarily in the typical sense where he’s out painting happy little trees. Often enough though, he is perfectly capable of this. Rather, it’s that he uses aesthetics, design and even his choices and actions to push the limits of social convention. Romano enjoys upsetting traditional expectations with experiments in beauty and behavior – he is known to express the phrase “Don’t box me in!”

Romano live’s in a colorful, sensual world, inspired by connections with people and ideas. He takes joy in reinterpreting these connections, reinventing and experimenting with both himself and new perspectives. This creates a sense of spontaneity, making Romano seem unpredictable, even to his closest of family.

Despite all this, Romano is definitely Introverted (a personality trait he picked up from both of his parents) , surprising those outside of the family further when he steps out of the spotlight to be by himself to recharge. Just because he is alone though, doesn’t mean he sits idle – he takes this time for introspection, assessing his principles. Rather than dwelling on the past or the future, Romano thinks about who he is in comparison to the rest of his family. He returns from his cloister, transformed.

Romano lives to find ways to push his passions. Riskier behaviors like gambling and extreme sports are more common for him than other family members. Fortunately his presence to the moment and their environment allows him to do better than most. Romano also enjoys connecting with others, and has a certain irresistible charm.

When Romano is criticized, it can go one of two ways. He can take the criticism so long as its done in a constructive manner. If the criticism isn’t and has shades of immaturity or maliciousness, then Romano can lose his temper in spectacular fashion. He is sensitive to other peoples feelings and values harmony (a trait he picked up from his mother) but this shouldn’t be mistaken for a pacifist attitude. He will always value the feelings of family first before anyone else.

Romano is quite mysterious and difficult to get a good read on during a first meeting. He may come off as very emotional, he guards this sensitive core very carefully (a trait he picked up from his father). He prefers to listen than express in certain instances. When in a romantic relationship, Romano prefers to focus on his partner, with no interest in dictating the mood of conversation with his own feelings. This has been known to frustrate people but those whom can tear through his outer walls will encounter someone whom is warm and enthusiastic towards them.

As his relationships grow, Romano’s love interest do come to find vibrancy and spontaneity to be par for the course. Romano may not be great long-term planners, preferring to let his partners take the lead when it comes to logic and strategy, but he almost never runs out of things to do in the present. Also caring and loyal, Romano love finding ways to surprise his partners in fun little ways.

There’s also a sense of practicality to Romanos unpredictability – if anyone is going to cancel a planned trip to stay home with a partner who suddenly got the flu as a gesture of affection, it is Romano. Spending time with his partners is something Romano really enjoys, and he want his partners to know that they are cared for and special (a trait picked up from both of his parents).

Genealogical Physical Attributes:
  • Extended canines on top and bottom jaw. These are remnants of his ancestral heritage.
  • Extended life expectancy - he will age much slower than humans and could potentially live to be a few hundred years old
  • Above average speed and strength - He cannot beat a wookie in an arm wrestling match but for a human his size, he easily outmatches.
  • Above average healing capabilities - Romano will survive the most grievous of injuries that would normally kill a typical human. This does not mean he is immortal. Massive physical trauma can kill him.
  • Keener vision at night - Sharp vision at night that causes irritation to daylight. Romano prefers dimly lit rooms or areas. The most he can visually tolerate without aggrevation is an overcast sky and even then, as time passes, he will feel a strain.
  • High level allergy to seafood, phrik, and cortosis metal (untreated exposure can kill him)
  • Low level allergy to synthetic foodstuffs (his diet would need to be high in meats, though he would still be capable of eating fruits, grains, and vegetables. Synthetic foodstuffs will make him sick)
  • Low tolerance to alcohol - He did not inherit his fathers natural tolerance. Though Daniels do not typically drink, they are not easily conquered by liquor. Romano is.
  • High susceptibility to spice addiction - Romano has not and will not try spice under any circumstance. He fears his brothers wrath.
