Roll Call! And Update on Civil War

Also, what are your thoughts on the Civil War? What would be an interesting thread to kick this off and get it to truly war like levels? The sides that I have heard want to exist, is the Court of Balagoth (my side), and the Old Guard. There are also the possibility of Separatist planets.

So maybe while you check in, let me know what side you'd like to join, here's a little something on them:

• Court of Balagoth: Believes the Primeval has stagnated, and that the Host Lord's death is proof that a truly extreme, and bloody change is necessary to move the faithful forward.
• Old Guard: The backers and supporters of the old Regime, now dead with Anja Aj'Rou, coalition together simply to stop the massacres the Court of Balagoth has sanctioned and committed.
• Separatists: Independent worlds ruled by Warlords who either want nothing to do with either side in the Conflict, wishing perhaps for independence. They could also form their own side in the conflict and fight both sides in the Civil War.

I'll get an official map up later, and talk to some folks.

I'm here old friend. Count me oin for this idea. I would be a Court member. Though his story makes Damien wish to have slain Anja himself it does not equate to a wish to remain unchanged.

That being said, expect discourt amongst your people. Damien is not for the slaughter of random entities.

Hello, new guy here~ I think the civil war idea is very cool. Dion has not yet developed any loyalties to the Court or Old Guard so he is currently an Independent, though he could be convinced to work for either side-- he is seeking spiritual enlightenment in the darkness of Wild Space, so whoever offers the clearest path to tapping into the mysteries of the universe, he would stand with.

I've been thinking, and maybe Ajihad could start as a Separatist until the war begins to directly effect him. Once that happens, he can pick a side and fight for it. Sort of spoils the Court thing for him ATM, but this feels like a more Ajihad-ish thing to do.

This is excellent to see, I love the possibilities we've got ahead of us right now. I will say that you can all remain independent, but then hold sympathies for one side or the other. You don't have to be a full blown supporter. Additionally, I would love to see some more Old Guard folks, or old guard sympathizers. What's a War with only one side after all?

I'm thinking we should definitely meet at a location, that will really settle these loyalties. Would we be interested in a new faction thread sooner rather than later?
