OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a droid brain for future submissions and the closed market.

  • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
COMPONENTS
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • An internal RMD-C10 Odin Processor Core allows for heightened computational speeds and heuristic processing.
  • Heat insulators and coolants allow for a larger maximum expenditure of dataflow without overheated components crippling the droid brain.
  • Programming presets based on various service classes:
    • Class I - Mathematics, Physics, Physical Sciences, Medical Capabilities
    • Class II - Engineering, Technical Sciences
    • Class III - Organic Interaction, Sophisticated Behavior
    • Class IV - Combat
    • Class V - Labor
  • Life-Preservation Programming with optional manufacturer override.
  • Internal targeting and surrounding identification system.
  • Advanced logic modules and reasoning capabilities.
  • Internal security protocols to prevent sabotage.
  • Communication Uplink Routers:
  • Modulator interface programming.
STRENGTHS
  • Jack of All Droids: The Feyr is able to serve in a wide range of functions within droid manufacture; the Feyr is able to perform as the main cortex for all service classes of droids, with the exception of automated ships. From battle droids to protocol droids, to simple laborers and astromechs, the Feyr is well-equipped for any role a droid could hope to take on. The advanced processor core and overall mechanics of the droid brain allows a higher degree of functioning and more advanced droids than standard droid brains allow for.
  • Ion Resistance: A coating of liquid-aenite mineral compound protects the Feyr from extensive damage from Ion or EMP weaponry.
WEAKNESSES
  • Eggs in Every Basket: The extensive programming for each droid of the Feyr means that the droid brain is not ideal for super-advanced droids in specialized roles.
DESCRIPTION
The RMD-B11 Feyr Droid Brain is the latest in Roble Manufacturing's burgeoning line of droid components, meant to be the crowning feature of every droid made by Roble Manufacturing or customers of the Fondor-based company. A serious step up from the singular-role Anhur droid brain, meant more for ship automation and drones, the Feyr instead seeks to serve on a wide basis and range of models, from lowly labor and astromech droids to the most advanced assassin and research models. An RMD-C10 Odin Processor Core allows for a high degree of computation and calculations, as well as heuristic programming that allows for droids to learn and adapt their programming to be more advantageous depending on their situation. Ultimately, the Feyr emphasizes flexibility and the manufacturer's preference above all other things, creating an extremely useful, powerful and variable droid brain.

Typically with a Jack of all trades kind of set up, it can do well in most categories, but it won't be the best at one thing. I recommend adding a weakness that would clearly state that you aren't going to be having top of the line battle droids, or superior performing medical or labor droids out of this mind that is being created. Its there to aid in the function as a Jack of all, but won't be the best thing around in one particular category of droid classes.

I added the weakness that it's not top-notch in any one specific category. However, to make the droid brain more competitive I added a strength that the brain is actually somewhat Ion resistant (although the entire droid in question would have to be completely Ion resistant for this to have any real effect). Does that look good?
