- Like the RMC-M6, the RMC-M7 features a completely self-contained design, with the only required ship interfacing ports being the ones to control targeting and firing the weapon; however, more inputs such as weapon feedback, diagnosis kits, and other technology bundles do exist and can be wired to display such data.
- The length and to extent size of the RMC-M7 can be adjusted depending on the needs of the ship.
- Self-Contained: All of the necessary systems for the RMC-M7 are contained within the blaster module itself, meaning that theoretically all a manufacturer has to do is attach the firing inputs, and they will have a fully-functioning weapons systems. A follow up to Roble Manufacturing's first standard laser cannon, the RMC-M7 medium laser cannon is designed to have an increased power intake and damage output that conventional laser cannons. Like Roble Manufacturing's previous laser cannon models, the RMC-M7 features an almost completely-contained design that increases modularity and flexibility of placement, as well as making replacement easier. However, the larger size of the RMC-M7 and sophisticated sybarium crystal power generator allows the laser cannon to have an increased damage output, at the expense of firing speed of the weapon in comparison to the RMC-M6, as well as the ability for small craft to implement the weapon. Altogether, the RMC-M7 is a beefed-up laser cannon, ideal for heavier freighters or other craft that seek to add a little more 'oomph' to their punch.
