Strengths:
Energy weaponry resistant: The armor is quite resistant to energy weapons thanks to it's Phrik plating.
Burst Mobility: The armor is intended for mobility and it's integrated micro thrusters are the cause for it. With them providing a temporary increase speed or aid in dodging maneuvers, also when in vacuum act as the maneuvering thrusters.
Sonic resistant: The armor is resistant to sonic and sound based weaponry.
Strength and Weakness:
ray-shield projector: While quite useful it can overheat and fail under sustained blaster fire or under prolonged contact with a lightsaber for example. The shield projector can take several minutes until it can be reactivated once it fails.
Ion Resistance: The armor provides resistance against Ion damage though this resistance doesn't last forever.
Weaknesses:
Physical Resistance: While the armor is quite durable it is weakest against direct physical attacks and forces.
The Force: This armor isn't resistant to the force in any way.
Light saber Resistance: While the armor is resistant to light sabers going between the phrik plates into the space leather body glove can get through, this also means that the outer coat can be cut by light sabers.
Notability: While one can always hide, when the range finder is active there is a something along the lines of a laser pointer to it's target which makes it quite noticeable when Ri'ven is targeting someone.
DESCRIPTION
Ri'ven created the armor by getting what he could from either defeated foes, of the market (Black or otherwise) as well as made them himself. Utilizing an old Republic commando armor as the base of it's look before modifying and essentially creating the armor from scratch as the only thing really reminiscent of the old republic commando armor is now simply the look of the armor under the coat. The armor itself took almost two years to build and get into it's current configuration as systems and equipment are added as the situations called for it during Ri'vens Career.
With several systems and capabilities to take out some systems to replace with others and as much mobility as could be offered while still allowing as much protection as possible from the design.
Perfectly suited to the type of fighting style Ri'ven employs both in ranged and close combat along with some of the maneuvers being a bounty hunter and mercenary requires Ri'ven to make.
