Graal needed a weapon. He salvaged a slugthrower rifle, stripped it down, reinforced it with a strong wood shaft, attached a bone spearhead that allowed for a slug to pass along its side, and wrapped it with brylark threading for added sturdiness. Slugs need reload after each shot, and spearhead was good against energy blades and heat. All in all, a versatile weapon for a young teenager surviving on Dxun alone, which allowed multiple methods of attack against predators and prey.
